Affordable rent a car in Salt lk city is by far the most crooked, deceitful company on planet Earth. My experience with them WAS DISGUSTING, it was horrendous, a total scam on their part, In simple terms...I rented a vehicle 2months in advance on their online site not 3rd party, had a contract and provided full payment. About 2 weeks after booking I received an email saying that my rental was canceled I called and told by manager they rented it too cheap and wanted $2000 more then I paid !!!!!
My quote didn't include all of the tourism tax and various taxes. But I figured it would be more then what I was quoted.

Great prices and customer service.
We got a great deal on our car and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We needed to extend our rental period due to flight delays and the company was flexible. Our shuttle driver was very friendly.
We are in the travel business in Utah with our family for the holidays. I was booked with another car company that did not honor their quote or car type. Affordable came through and offered EXCELLENT customer service. I will be recommending all my clients to them.
All employees were helpful, courteous and kind to my needs and requests. Appreciate local companies. Will choose again when in SLC
