Good experience. Email asking me to answer this survey appears to have been inaccurate as it stated that I could "win" something if I answered the survey. So far, I do not see any such opportunity associated with my response to this survey.
Aamcar has always been good to us, including this time. All NYC car rentals are expensive, but at least Aamcar is reasonable in comparison to others, and their service has always been very good.

AAMCAR Car Rental is my regular 'go-to' business whenever I am in need of a rental car. I have been a customer for a number of years and have always had a very positive experience. It is extremely convenient in that I walk 2 blocks from my apartment to the AAMCAR location on 96th st.
I rented a Cherry Red Toyota Camry and the state of the car was poor. I had difficulty in gearing it - it's automatic!, the right back seat belts did not work properly, it was full of scratches, the seats were stained... Well, it seemed a (run out) family car and not a rental, but it worked properly.
The vehicle was badly in need of maintenance and I did not feel safe driving it. I will not rent from this agency again.
I like AAMCAR a lot. It is the main rental agency I use. Check in was very pleasant and efficient, as always. Only concern was that I had to wait longer than I expected for the car. It had just been returned and I waited until it was unloaded and they quickly cleaned it out and got it ready for me.
