Everything went smoothly and I was very pleased with the new experience.
i only needed the car for 6 hours so it would be nice to have hourly rates on weekends, not just weekdays.
Staff were very helpful.
My favorite place from which to rent in Manhattan by distance.
Overall good experience. I use this service regularly for making short trips, both for the value and because I believe in supporting local business.
Two suggestions: 1/ If Aamcar started a loyalty program (ie rent 5 times and get a discount), then there would be an extra incentive that could attract more business. 2/ Allow the website to store details so repeat users don't have to enter the same information each time.
I always am treated well by the staff at Aamcar on 96th St. Renting a car can sometimes be a bit of a pain but the 96th Street staff ia always pleasant and courteous. The price is usually fair, so I will continue using this service.
Great service, good car, great value
Car was generally okay. Service was great. However, the windshield wipers should have been changed prior to this rental, they did not function well during rain. The brakes developed some problems as the trip progressed. Also, I would expect that all cars have built-in GPS, which this car did not.
Juan was so great. Really sensitive about costs and fun to deal with. The car itself should have had more air in the tires. The "check tire pressure" sign came on and we had to spent too much time finding and getting air put in the tires, so that was fairly annoying. But I liked dealing with this smaller place, and the pleasant staff.
Loyal customer for over 5 years. Great neighborhood rental agency and very convenient to the gas station
