Danny at 181st street has always been extremely courteous and helpful and the rental experience is always positive. This time, due to unfortunate circumstances, our vehicle wasn't available and it was very inconvenient.
For the first time in 5 years, I am disappointed by AAMCAR services:
* a 30 minutes wait time for pick up as the car was not available / ready
* a poorly functioning air conditioning - we suffered from excessive heat in the car on this Memorial Day week end
All in all a pretty disappointing performance!
The only issue I had was with the car making random noises that sounded like a honk. It never caused any problems but I was a little concerned while driving on the highway and hearing it, not knowing what it was. But it was definitely my car (not other cars honking at me). I was surprised since the car seemed brand new. Overall good experience though.
