Vehicle size was not honored. I requested midsize suv and was put in a compact. No other vehicle available. Luckily Budget helped me out and I was able to get a refund. The lady was nice though but you guys ultimately gave up my rental vehicle to someone else.
Vehicle was not a mid size suv, it was more of a 3 row van. Car was in absolutely awful condition, dirty, and poorly maintained. Staff was no where to be found when we arrived and very uninterested in having to help us or the others waiting when she did arrive. She appeared to be working alone as well. At the time of return the staff was again completely uninterested in helping and acted like we were a bother to them for being there. We will definitely not return next year.
This was the best car rental experience I\'ve ever had. The business owners (+Elena!) were so personable and easy to work with. I really enjoyed our long talks about all things Alaska! I was also given a surprise vehicle upgrade, and it drove exceptionally well. It\'s way more gratifying to support a local business than any of the global ones that proliferate the rental counters at ANC. Definitely would rent from them again if my travels ever take me back to Anchorage. Thank you!
We have rented from Andy in the past, it has always been a great experience. The car we rented fit our families needs however some features of the car did not work such as the door locks, other than that it suited us great.
All-around GREAT experience! From the moment we landed, we were taken care of. My friend and her two boys didn\'t have to wait more than 5-10min for a shuttle to take us to the Agency. From there, it was smooth. Our options were laid out for us, they gave us time to review our insurance policy from USA to see if we had coverage, and their attention to our needs was impeccable; especially with two young boys going at each other! Haha!
Worst rental car of my life: rude staff, huge lines, smelly car, impossible checkout (over two hours in line with my departing flight), lack of transparency. Absolutely zero.
Aliyah was waiting for us when we arrived. We were waiting for one of our friends to get her bags and clear custom and she was very patient. Everything was as expected. They brought the car loaded us and our luggage up and took us to pick up our vehicle. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. I would definitely rent from leisure again.
The rental was difficult without being aware we needed the info from our policy for collision and or documentation from the credit card used. We have never been asked for anything more than our insurance card. One other issue is the email we received pre-rental said that the Uber would be covered both ways, from and to the airport. When we returned our vehicle we were told that the Uber chare reimbursement was only for the ride to Globe, not back to the airport.
The return process was very painful. I had to spend the whole day trying to find the drop off location. The pin that was sent to me brought me somewhere else when I tried to get directions.
great overall experience . we got the car delivered to and from the hotel and was much less expensive than other quotes for less car , ie manual operation whereas the car supplied was an automatic
