Unless you don't mind waiting over an hour to get a car you did not sign up for, I would recommend paying a few extra dollars for the upper branded car agencies located on the airport property. They told me the car that I had chosen as one of their choices on the website was not even carried by them. They tried to send me out in a car that we could not even fit our luggage in. We had to wait for a runner to go get a car clean it and that barely fit our luggage in.

I purchased the tank of gas, and believe I was over charged. It cost $60. When I refilled in California at a higher price, It was $49. Maybe charged for the larger truck price. I put in 16 gallons to fill up and was charged for 21 gallons. Was going to discuss this when I dropped the truck off, but it was so busy, I decided to call on Monday. Overall the truck was awesome and met my needs at a good price.

I never found the rental place to rent the car, but this place charge my card for a rental that I never got, and I am going to fight the charges to my card considering I never used the rental car.

Tried contacting rental company approximately 4or 5 times from Logan Airport, but call was dropped or not completed. Confirmation page gives you a number to call. Renal company advertised that it is located at Logan airport, but Hertz/National/Budget had no idea where company was located.

No instructions were provided as to how to connect with the car. We had to make calls in freezing cold outside as the phone numbers provided were not local and could not be connected with inside the terminal. We waited over 15 minutes with no response. The next try was barely audible and the instructions were not clear. We were given another number to call which we did. It took us over an hour in freezing cold to connect with a driver who would take us to the rental car agency. Never again!!

LAX location is staffed with liars, from the top down. Instead of getting the car I had RESERVED for 2Pm I was put on a 6+ waiting list, with no estimated time for availability. They offered to book me elsewhere for MORE. Car finally available 3 1/2 hrs later.On return I was ripped off $52 for 5 gals gas, nearly charged a late fee tho I had been assured I could have a 1 hr grace period for the inconvenience (it was 1/2 hr). APPALLING SERVICE-but evidently common practice there.

company should advise renters to bring proof of insurance if they choose not to buy the liability insurance offered by the company. it seems it's a bait and switch. offer a very low base rate but then charge for add ons...gps, liability insurance, gas option, etc etc. be up front about pricing
