I was not informed about the new road tax charge prior to pickup, despite receiving an email earlier in the year that made no mention of it. I was also charged twice for my rental and am still awaiting a refund, which the company denies. The handler I dealt with was unhelpful. On a positive note, the branch staff were very helpful, the airport transport driver was great, and online support was good. However, due to these unresolved issues, I will not be using this company again.

Pick up had to be paid, 50 euros is twice the price of a taxi ! We were pushed to buy an insurance, almost like "if you don't take the premium insurance you will regret it". This is not legal in Iceland. The car had strange noises and we were anxious that the pushy sales of the insurance was because the agent knew that the car had problems.

Both tires on left side of vehicle had a slow air leak so had to continuously check and fill tire pressure….very annoying
