General Mariano Escobedo International Airport is located in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico. There are nearly 350 flights leaving the airport each day. General Mariano Escobedo International Airport is considered to be one of the most modern airport facilities in the world. There are four terminals at the airport. Terminal A is divided into two concourses, North and South. All of the international flights at the airport depart from Terminal A, Concourse South. The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol is located inside of Terminal B as well. It is recommended that travelers arrive between 90 minutes and 2 hours prior to their flight departure time in order to proceed through security and customs screenings. Short and long term parking is available outside Terminals A, B, and C.
The airport is fully accessible for persons with disabilities. There are lifts and ramps available, and wheelchairs are also available.
Car Rentals & Ground Transportation At General Mariano Escobedo Airport
Public transportation is provided through the Skybus express shuttle. The Skybus operates regularly between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays. Though not required, a reservation for this service is recommended. Service is also provided on the weekends as well, however, it is at less frequent intervals. There is a fee for using this service, which takes an average of 45 minutes to reach the downtown area.
