Milwaukee's General Mitchell Airport, located at 5300 South Howell Avenue, sits five miles from the city center. The airport offers travelers three concourses for both domestic and international travel with a total of 48 gates in one terminal. These gates are located on two floors. Travelers at MKE should plan to arrive a minimum of 90 minutes prior to their flight departure time in order to proceed through security checkpoints at the airport.
