Gore Place

If you enjoy history and want to learn more about the area, be sure to include a stop at Gore Place while you are in town. Gore House is a home built in 1806 as a summer home for lawyer and politician Christopher Gore. The mansion is breathtaking, featuring oval parlors, and high ceilings throughout. You can tour the home each day with a low admission cost.
