There is a sky walk way in which people coming from parking lots A and B can enter the airport. At the end of the sky walk way is a check point where departing passengers enter and exit. This makes ground transportation at the airport simple and easy.

Travelers should plan to arrive at Love Field at least 90 minutes prior to their flight departure time to check baggage and go through the security procedures. Be sure not to bring any prohibited items to the airport, which includes firearms and explosives, some sporting equipment, tools, and full sized bottles. Despite the airport's small size, there are still a variety of concessions and shopping areas available to travelers. Grand Stand Sports Shop offers a variety of gifts, The Body Shop, and Sunglasses Hut are among the other shopping choices at Love Field. When you want to grab a bite to eat, McDonald's is available, as well as a Chili's, Pizza Hut, Cinnabon, and others.
