Payless Car Rental Reviews

Only problem at Las Vegas, was that the cars were NOT ready for pickup. We had to wait around 15 minutes along with 6 others and had to go up to the window to ask a second time before we got the car. That was not good service. Normally, I get my car immediately once we get to the garage from other companies.

A higher rate was charged, but the lady at the desk promised to credit the difference to my card. I trust this will be done. I would have been happier if the rate charged had been the rate quoted. Thanks.

We were not forewarned and was told when we got to Florida that we could not rent from payless car rental without our proof of insurance. My car insurance is under my husband\'s name. The agent could not careless, leaving my friend and I stranded without a car. Thankfully I am a member of ez car rental. So for a little more E Z rental car came to the rescue. They are 100 times better. I will be spreading the news to all my Snowbird friends in Montreal not Toronto about EZ.

First, there was NO counter or representative in the airport with whom I could talk to. I finally found out I had to go outside. But then I ended up NOT renting from Payless. In all the materials I read after making my reservation, it was my understanding that all necessary insurance was included (3rd party liability). I showed the paperwork to the agent, and when I tried to decline all other insurance, a hold of $9,000 was placed on my credit card and was going to charged for more taxes. I left

I upgraded to a ford Flex and loved driving it!!

The car got great gas mileage and pickup/return were simple.

the car was dirty inside - a raw egg was left along with garbage from the past renter. rented a car from this location before and was extremely happy - because an employee did not follow procedure in the past I was delayed from renting my car by 1.25 hours and was late to a conference. i did not know I could be picked up. the man who dropped me off when i returned is incredible. so courteous and polite. wish everyone was like that. the manager of the store was not helpful either.
