Car Rentals at Raleigh-Durham International Airport
The Raleigh Durham International Airport consists of two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with two concourses - Concourse A and Concourse B. Travelers can use the RDA for trips to locations across the world. The terminals are not connected, however travelers can easily get to them with the free shuttle service available at the airport. Located 17 miles from downtown Raleigh and 10.5 miles from Durham, North Carolina, both security and customs checkpoints are located inside of the airport.
International passengers should arrive a minimum of two hours prior to their flight departure time to proceed through customs while domestic travelers should arrive 90 minutes early. An hourly/daily parking garage within walking distance of the passenger terminal is available for short and long term parking needs.
Ground Transportation At Raleigh Durham International Airport
Public transportation offers many choices for travelers, including a shared ride van, shuttle service, and city bus. Each of these options offer low cost fares to reach many destinations in the area.
