DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to offer the service:
● Drivers between 20 to 75 years old.
o **Drivers between 20 and 23 years of age must pay a fee of 15 USD per day
"Young Driver".
o **Drivers between 69 and 75 years of age must pay a fee of 7 USD per day "Senior
Driver".
● At the time of pick-up, a valid physical driving licence issued in the country of origin,
including photograph, which is not less than 12 months old from the date it was first
obtained is required.
● For renters from outside the following countries that do not use the Latin alphabet, a valid
international driving licence in English is also required: USA, US territories, Canada, UK, EU,
Australia and New Zealand. In addition, a valid government-issued passport is required.
● Payment of the rental agreement and security deposit can only be made by the tenant
with a valid physical credit card in their name.
Tenants showing signs of intoxication, suspicious behaviour, substance abuse or erratic and
aggressive behaviour will not be accepted.
Accepted methods of payment for rental are Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards ONLY.
For the security deposit ONLY Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. We do not accept
cash payments.
Photocopies of driving licences and learner's permits are not accepted.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
The vehicles are insured against damage caused to third parties during the rental period. Any
insurance claim can only be accepted if accompanied by a valid police report. Personal insurance
of the client, passengers, luggage or any goods are not covered by the Rental Agreement and are
not covered by the insurance of the rented vehicle, and the Rental Firm is not liable for any
damage or deterioration of the same. If, after the use of the vehicle, any claim is made against the
lessor, the client is responsible for covering any and all problems caused to the rented vehicle
during the period in which the vehicle is under contract, the lessor being exonerated from any
liability. In case of accident, total or partial theft or destruction of the vehicle while the CUSTOMER
is using the car (whether or not the fact is due to exclusive or common fault of the CUSTOMER),
confirmed by the competent authorities, the CUSTOMER is only responsible for the amount
retained as a guarantee, except in cases where the damage caused by an accident, total or partial
theft or destruction is not covered by insurance policies.
• CDW: Collision Damage Waiver: Covers damage to the rental vehicle in the event of a
collision. Reduces your financial responsibility up to the excess specified in the rental
contract.
o Does NOT cover the following: differences in fuel between collection and return,
dirt or stains on the interior, damage caused by smoking, loss of registration or
registration certificate.
If the customer takes out CDW cover the security deposit changes to 500 USD.
• TP: Theft Protection: Covers the cost if the rental vehicle is stolen or damaged due to
attempted theft.
• SCDW: Super Collision Damage Waiver: Removes the liability excess to zero.
• Glass and tyre protection.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The security deposit amount is pre-authorized on the renter's credit card for the entire duration of
the rental period. The security deposit will ONLY be un-blocked at the time of return if the car is in
the same condition as it was at the pick-up time and there are no damages present or outstanding
traffic fines or other financial penalties. All costs pertaining to damages done to the vehicle or
outstanding fines must be settled in full by the renter at drop-off and only after that the security
deposit will be released.
For the security deposit ONLY Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. We do not accept
cash payments.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Unpaid Reservations can be cancelled at any time. Reservations prepaid in advance cannot be
cancelled or refunded.
In cases of early returns there will be no refund issued for the remaining period
RESERVATION POLICY
Reservations will be honored by up to 5 hours after the pick-up date & time, after which we will
consider it a no-show. No show reservations can be reactivated upon request if cars are available.
Pre-paid reservations cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
MILEAGE
Unlimited mileage.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
A maxium of two additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement. The additional drivers
must have valid driving license and passport, meeting the same criteria as the main driver. The
additional driver cost is 9 USD per day.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
The client undertakes to return the vehicle together with all documents, keys, accessories, and
equipment in good condition (as they were taken over) at the place and time agreed in the Rental
Agreement. An additional charge per day will be made for customers returning the car after a
delay of more than 1 hour from the time specified in the agreement.
If there is a delay of more than three hours regarding the time specified for returning the vehicle
in the Rental Contract, the lessor reserves the right to inform the Police about the theft of the
vehicle, excepting the case when the client notifies the lessor about its option of extending the
vehicle rental period. If the vehicle is returned unreasonably dirty, during the night and/ or in bad
weather, when the inspection of the car is impossible, the vehicle will be checked in a maximum of
two business days, after the lessor has had all the proper conditions to inspect the car. The client
will take full responsibility for all prejudices found until the Return sheet is issued.
The client is responsible for the vehicle until the verification process has been completed. The
verification process ends with the signing of the vehicle Return Form by both parties. If the return
is made in the context mentioned above, or if the client refuses to sign the document, he will still
be considered responsible for the prejudices identified following the verification. The Returning of
the vehicle in any other city than the one where the vehicle has been taken from, is possible only
with the prior written consent of the lessor that the transfer is possible. For this service called
“One Way Rent”, a transfer fee will be applied depending on the city in which the Returning will
take place and the city from which the vehicle has been rented. In case the vehicle is returned with
damages, the client has the obligation to present a Police Report mentioning the damage/incident.
Damages that are not accompanierd by a Police Report will not be covered under the insurance
policy or CDW.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE IN ANOTHER STATE
Returning a car to a different location is only possible when the client has paid for the One Way
Rent additional service. An un-authorized return to a different location is penalized with the
amount of 250 USD.
Vehicles may be dropped off at a different location only when the additional service of One Way
Rent has been purchsed by the client.

FUEL POLICY
The vehicles are handed over with a full tank of gas and shall be returned in the same condition. In
cases of missing fuel a penalty of 50 USD plus the cost of the missing amount of fuel will be
charged to the client.
EXTRAS
Extras like child seats, GPS navigation or phone chargers are to be used as specified by their
manufacturers and the sole responsibilty of fitting and operating them lies exclusively with the
client.
The lessor is not responsible for any injury or damage as a result of improper use of the additional
equipment and will not accept any liablity as a resut thereof. Any damage done to the vehicle as a
result of improper usage of child seats, GPS navigaiton and phone chargers shall be charged to the
client upon return of the vehicle.
ROAD ASSISTANCE
In cases of vehicle malfuncion, flat tire, dead battery or traffic incident the clients that have
purchased the CDW service will be provided with free roadside assistance. Clients that have
opted for a security deposit will be charged a call-out fee of 50 USD plus the cost of the
repairs/services required excepting cases where the car has been involved in a traffic accident and
cannot be driven.
GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS
The vehicles can only be driven on the territory of the United Arab Emirates. Unauthorized
border crossings will be penalized with a tax of 2000 USD and any other cost that may be incurred
in the porcess of relocatiing the vehicle. In cases where the car cannot be relocated the client's
information will be presented to the competent authorities under the suspicion of vehicle theft.
TOLLS AND FINES
Any tolls & traffic fines incurred during the rental period shall be the sole responsibilty of the client
and will be charged the respective amounts upon returning the vehicle plus an administrative
surcharge of 10%.
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
Any traffic accident or incident that causes damage to the vehicle or causes damage to a third
party must be declared by the client to the competent authorities and a police report must be
obtained. Any insurance claim is not accepted without a police report mentioning the incident &
resuting damages.

Pick up Instructions
After exiting the luggage collection area at the airport, clients must call our call center (80) 029 7623 and provide name, reservation number, the number of passengers and request a free shuttle pick-up & wait inside the terminal until the shuttle arrives.
