GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS
Vehicles must not be driven on the seashore or outside Zanzibar Island.
TOLLS AND FINES
The renter is responsible for all fines—administrative handling fee: USD 10.
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
All accidents must be reported immediately to the police and Ola Zanzibar.
Failure to do so may void insurance coverage.

RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
Vehicles must be returned within the agreed time. Extra hours are charged USD 5 per hour.
Delivery and Return: Delivery outside Stone Town or Airport area costs USD 25
FUEL POLICY
The vehicles are handed over with a full tank of gas and shall be returned in the same condition
EXTRAS
Optional extras (e.g., GPS, baby seat) available on request, subject to availability and extra cost

Available 24 hours / 7 days per week
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to offer the service:
• Drivers must be 24–70 years old and hold a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years.
(Young Drivers 18 to 20,15 USD per day and old Drivers 71 a 74 years 10 USD per day)
• A copy of the driver’s license must be sent via WhatsApp to prepare the local driving
permit.
• The local driving permit fee is USD 15.
• Passport or ID may be required as a refundable security bond (USD 350 or passport)
**MasterCard or Visa and credit card payment required (debit cards not accepted).
INSURANCE INFORMATION
The vehicle is covered by fully comprehensive insurance (including CDW). Personal insurance for
passengers or belongings is not included.
Liability Insurance : 20 USD per day
Glass and Tire Protection: 10 USD per day
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A USD 350 deposit or passport is required as a refundable bond.
Payment must be made by credit card or cash (debit cards not accepted).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made within 48 hours before pickup are subject to a 100% cancellation fee
RESERVATION POLICY
Bookings can be Prepaid or Pay on Arrival (POA).
No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
MILEAGE
Unlimited Mileage
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
USD 10 per day. Driver must meet the same requirements and provide a valid license

Airport Delivery Instructions
When the client arrives at the airport, a representative from Ola Zanzibar Car/America Car Rental.
Rental will meet them just outside the arrival hall and hand over the vehicle directly at the airport parking lot.

24/7 delivery service: Available at any time with a $25 service fee for deliveries outside regular working hours.
Hotel delivery service: Vehicles can be delivered to any hotel around Zanzibar Island with a $25 one-way service fee.
