DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to provide the service:
You must present the following at the time of physical pickup:
1. Identification document: Identification from your country of residence and a Passport.
2. Driver's license: Original and valid. For all non-EU citizens is required an International
Driving Permit.
3. Credit card: Visa or Mastercard with available credit for the security deposit/bond.
4. Payment method for the rental: Cash, debit card, or credit card.
5. Age: Be at least 25 a 65 years old. If you are between 21 and 24 years old, a young driver.
surcharge will apply. If you are between 66 and 70 years old a senior driver surcharge will
apply.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards for payment.
For the deposit amount, only Visa and MasterCard CREDIT CARDs are accepted. Debit cards of
any kind are not accepted for the deposit amount.
INSURANCE INFORMATION.
Additional insurance is not included in the rental price and could be purchased at the counter at
the time of pick up.
Civil liability coverage for property damage and/or personal injury or death of third parties
(TPL): Civil liability coverage for property damage and/or personal injury or death of third parties.
Damage to third parties is covered 100% by the insurer (up to approximately USD 500,000).-
Included in the Price
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): It reduces the liability of payment in case of partial or total
demage to the rented vehicle by paying a deductible. – Included in the Price
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): It reduces the liability of payment in case of any damage
to the exterior of the vehicle to 0 (15 - 50 EUR per day).
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of €800.00 to €3,000.00 is required depending ot the vehicle class.
Security deposit must be paid with CREDIT CARD ONLY (VISA OR MASTERCARD)
The security deposit will be released in full within fifteen (15) business days after the end of the
rental period, provided that no unexpected charges are incurred. Such charges may include, but
are not limited to: damage to the vehicle, traffic fines, returning the vehicle with less fuel than
when it was delivered, or the need for cleaning.
It is important to clarify that the value of the security deposit does not include the cost of renting
the vehicle. It is important to note that the security deposit does not include the cost of the
vehicle rental.
CANCELLATION POLICY.
There is NO cancellation charge, and customers are free to cancel their reservation up to pick up
time.
NO REFUND ON EARLY RETURNS.
RESERVATION POLICY
The Customer has a grace period is 1 hour - if the customer is more than 1 hour late, the
reservation is considered a NO-SHOW.
MILEAGE
Unlimited mileage for all car groups
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional drivers must be between 25 and 65 years old (EUR 6/day) plus tax per driver.
21-24 years old, you will have to pay a young driver fee (EUR 10/day).
66 and 70 years old, you will have to pay a senior driver's fee (EUR 10/day)
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
If the customer is more than 1 hour late additional rental day should be charged as per the rental
agreement. (including additional day for insurance if added to the contract.
ONE WAY/ DROP-OFF
It is possible only on request. Price is calculated for every different location.
FUEL POLICY
Return with the same amount granted to avoid refueling charges. If fuel is missing upon return,
you will pay according to current internal rates at the rental counter. Unused fuel is non
refundable.
EXTRAS
Extras and Equipment should be requested at the counter from a rental agent, and will be charged
on a per day basis.

ROAD ASSISTANCE
24 Hour Roadside Assistance is available (ONLY in Bulgaria) - Additional charges may apply.
GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS
Cross-border has to be requested before the rental start.
Crossing borders are allowed to: Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia. The cost of the
crossing permit is €130.00 per country, and all rentals include unlimited mileage.
TOLLS AND FINES
Toll fee is not included in the rental price.
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
In case of an accident, after calling 112 customer must call the office to get assistance, assistance
may very depending the type of accident and the type of insurance they selected, if the assistance
given to the client is not included in the coverage selected at the counter extra charges may apply
at the time of return.

Pick-up Instructions
Free shuttle service will be provided.
At Terminal 1: Our blue shuttle van will stop in front of the Customs office.
At Terminal 2: Our blue shuttle van will stop at the bus station, which is located opposite of the taxi station.
IMPORTANT: Please, call us once you pick your luggage and our
shuttle van will come in less then 5 minutes.

Drop-off Instructions
Once you have returned the vehicle to the location, we will take you by shuttle to your destination at the airport.
