DELIVERY AND COLLECTIONS
Delivery between different cities
This fare is additional and independent from the total fare of the reservation or leasing
contract, it varies depending on the distance between cities.
The destinations allowed for return in another city are:
• Las Americas International Airport (Santo Domingo) $80 USD
• Gregorio Luperon International Airport (Puerto Plata) $60 USD
• Punta Cana International Airport (Punta Cana) $100 USD.
When returning the car, the client has an allowance of 3 hours, from the hour registered on
the leasing contract. After 3 hours, an additional day charge will be applied.
Border crossings are not allowed.
FUEL POLICY
Fuel: Pick up and return with same level
The petrol is NOT included in the total fare. The car needs to be returned with the same
amount of petrol that it was given with, in relation to what will be written on the leasing
contract. If any petrol is missing, an additional service charge will be made to the gallon as
follows:
It is charged at the current price of the country’s fuel + a service charge of $3.00 USD
CANCELLATIONS
If the client makes a reservation through a third party (Broker, OTA, GDS, Travel Agency)
he/she must request reimbursement directly with them and will be according to the terms
and conditions agreed with the third party.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional driver has an extra cost of $3 USD per day. The additional driver must be at least
21 years old and have a valid driver's license (National or International) ORIGINAL with
photo and full name of the person and with a minimum of one year of validity, NO MATTER
THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
For the deposit in guarantee is accepted only as payment method Bank Transfer and Credit
Card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover, Eurocard).

RESERVATION POLICY
The customer has allowance of 3 hours, from the hour registered on the leasing contract.
After 3 hours an additional charge will be apply. Out of hours is available with an extra cost,
ask at desk for the service.
When returning the car, the client has allowance of 3 hours, from the hour registered on
the leasing contract. After 3 hours an additional day charge will be apply
INSURANCE INFORMATION
PLI (Primary Liability Insurance)
The Liability Protection covers the customer in case of damage to a third party, third-party
property, court bonds and lawsuits, this coverage is mandatory unless the customer can
demonstrate that it has a method that can cover it
CDW (Basic Collision Damage Waiver)
This coverage is optional and relieves the customer of the responsibility of having to pay
the damage caused to the rented vehicle with a deductible depending on the category.
CDW 2 (Collision Damage Waiver)
This coverage is optional and relieves the customer of the responsibility of having to pay
the damages caused to the rented vehicle with a zero deductible (0)
TGI (Insurance for wheels and glass)
The tire and protection relieves the customer from paying for damages caused to the 4
tires of the rented vehicle and the front glass with a zero deductible liability (0).
IMPORTANT:
In case the client's reservation does NOT include CDW coverage, it must be purchased over
the counter. Otherwise, Mandatory 1 Liability and Road Assistant will apply. This insurance
is mandatory and will cost $ 24.99 USD per day, plus taxes. It includes third-party liability
and the vehicle license fee.
Credit card coverage does not cover the Road Assistant fee, so even if the client presents
his/her credit card insurance, he/she must purchase the Road Assistant fee in order to
pick up the vehicle.
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation in order to offer the service:
• Minimum age is 21 years old, no maximum age limit.
• Credit Card personalized with the cardholder's full name and at least 1-year-old.
• Identification (Passport with photo in the case of foreign customers).
• Valid driver's license (National or International) ORIGINAL with photo and full name of the
person and with at least one year of validity, NO MATTER THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. The
license has to be in English and Latin Letters.
Young driver fee from 21 to 24 years $5 USD per day.
The payment methods accepted for the payment of the rent are Bank Transfer, Cash, Credit Card
(Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover, Eurocard), Check.
