DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to offer the service:
• Minimum age is 21 years and older (Depending on vehicle category).
• Personalised credit card with the full name of the cardholder.
• Identification (Passport with photo in the case of foreign customers).
• Valid driving licence or international license.
**We accept credit and debit card payments (Visa and MasterCard).
INSURANCE INFORMATION
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): The contracting of CDW is optional. The customer can decide
whether to include it in their rental or use the coverage offered by their credit card. It changes the
amount of the security deposit if the customer contracts CDW, as the risk damage is reduced.
Requirements for CDW:
• The customer must present a valid letter of coverage issued by the card entity (Visa,
Mastercard).
• Must present a credit card in their name with available funds.
• Customer must sign a CDW extension form, accepting full liability in the event of denial of
coverage by their issuer.
• The company reserves the right to reject cards with questionable or unverifiable coverage.
The CDW must be accepted and signed in the contract at the time of initiating the rental. Applies
only within the national territory and under authorised use.
• Does NOT cover damage due to negligence (e.g. drunk driving, racing, unauthorized
roads).
• It does NOT cover tyres, windows, mirrors, interiors or theft of personal belongings.
• Does NOT cover damages if the driver is not authorized in the contract.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
**We accept credit and debit card payments (Visa and MasterCard).
Cash payment is accepted with the following requirements.
• Photo identification (INE, passport or valid driving licence) must be presented.
• The security deposit must be paid in full upon delivery of the vehicle.
• The deposit will be returned only at the end of the contract after inspection of the vehicle.
Partial payments and payments in foreign currency are not accepted.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation free of charge up to 24 hours in advance; after that, 50% of the total amount of the
reservation will be charged.
RESERVATION POLICY
The customer will have a minimum of 2 hours to pick up the vehicle, if the customer sends his
flight details the reservation will be respected, after 2 hours and the customer did not contact us it
will be marked as a NO-SHOW.
Reservation minimum 24 h before; free cancellation up to 12 h before. After that, 50 % charge on
the total amount.
MILEAGE POLICY
Free mileage
Unlimited mileage plans may have geographical restrictions. If the vehicle is used outside the
permitted area, the unlimited mileage may be invalidated.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional driver: $7 USD/day (max. 2 drivers).

RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
Vehicle must be returned at the airport and in the San Salvador area.
Overtime:
After 4 hours onwards is considered an additional day and will be charged depending on each
vehicle from $1.50 USD per hour of delay.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE IN ANOTHER STATE
Reservations with pick-up and drop-off at different locations must be requested ≥48 hours in
advance. A flat rate of $50 USD + $0.75 USD/km extra driven will apply. The charge is processed at
the time of return. Any rerouting must be notified 24 hours in advance, otherwise an additional
25% will be charged.
FUEL POLICY
Delivery and return with a full tank. If returned with less than ¼ tank, a restocking fee of $5
USD/litre plus a $20 USD administration fee will be charged.
EXTRAS
Request ≥24 hours in advance; subject to availability.
• Child seat (infant): $8 USD/day.
• Wi-Fi Hotspot (maximum 5 devices): $6 USD/day.
Delivery and collection of extras together with the vehicle; not available en route.

GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS
The car is only allowed to be driven in El Salvador, it is not allowed to leave the border.
TOLLS AND FINES
1. Traffic fines:
You are responsible for any infraction (photo tickets, parking tickets, etc.).
You will be charged the amount of the fine plus a $20 administration fee for each occurrence. If
we receive notification of a fine >30 days after booking, we will apply the fine to the card on file
and send you a receipt.
2. Processing:
My Circle notifies the cardholder upon receipt of the violation. The fine is collected and processed
within a maximum of 10 working days. A digital copy of the payment receipt is sent to the
cardholder.
3. Non-compliance:
Failure to pay fines or handling may result in blocking of future bookings and reporting to the
Financial Investigation Unit if there are indications of fraud.
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
The insurance offered in the vehicle rate covers as long as the client is not intoxicated and has a
valid license. In case of an emergency on the road, the client must contact the corresponding officials
to receive immediate assistance.

1. Immediate notification: Report any accident or damage within 2 hours by calling our 24/7
and WhatsApp.
2. Mandatory police report: In accidents with third parties or injuries, present a copy of the
report from the National Civil Police.
3. Active insurance: All vehicles have third party coverage; own damage covered after
payment of deductible of $350-$1200 depending on the type of car USD per claim.
4. Excess and deductible: You assume the excess (\$350 - 1,200 USD) and My Circle will
arrange the rest with the insurer.
5. Inoperative vehicle: If the vehicle is immobilized, we will send a replacement within 4 hours
(subject to availability).
6. Penalty for non-reporting: Delay or failure to report >24 hours incurs an administrative fee
of $350 USD and possible reporting to the Financial Investigation Unit if the associated
payment is deemed suspicious.
7. Unauthorised Repairs: Do not make repairs without My Circle's endorsement or you will
not be reimbursed.
8. Final assessment: Upon delivery of report and documents, we process claims within 10
working days.
