DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to provide the service:
1. Identification document: Identification from your country of residence and passport,
citizenship card (CC), or foreigner's card (CE).
2. Driver's license: Original and valid. (You must show a driver's license that has been valid
for at least 12 months at the time of rental, regardless of whether it is a national or
international license. It must be in the Roman alphabet.)
3. Credit card: With available credit for the security deposit/bond.
4. Payment method for the rental: Cash, debit card, or credit card.
5. Age: Be at least 25-68 years old. If you are between 21 and 24 years old, a young driver
surcharge will apply.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards; we don’t accept
Diners Club or digital cards.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Note: Depending on the rate booked, your reservation may or may not include the following
coverage:
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): It reduces the liability of payment in case of partial or total
damage to the rented vehicle by paying a deductible
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI): Externally caused damage to the rental vehicle, third-party
bodily injury, and Damage caused by your rental vehicle to material property.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW): Relieves you of all financial responsibility due to loss or damage to
our vehicle. Depending on your vehicle class, the rate changes.
Civil liability coverage for property damage and/or personal injury or death of third parties.
(TPL): Civil liability coverage for property damage and/or personal injury or death of third parties.
Damage to third parties is covered 100% by the insurer (up to approximately USD 500,000).
Included in the Price
Roadside ASSISTANCE: Covers assistance with tire replacement (any major damage to our tires is
not covered), Key replacement ( this will not cover the cost that may occur if our key is damaged
or lost), Fuel delivery, and Breakdowns. Note: you will be charged for any loss or damage to our
tires and key, if the tire cannot be repaired, and if the key is damaged or lost
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of $700.00 is required for all Luxury SUV rentals and vans, and $500.00 for all
other vehicle classes.
Security deposit must be paid with CREDIT CARD ONLY (VISA, MASTERCARD, AND AMERICA
EXPRESS)
The security deposit will be released in full the end of the rental period, provided that no
unexpected charges are incurred. Such charges may include, but are not limited to: damage to the
vehicle, traffic fines, returning the vehicle with less fuel than when it was delivered, or the need
for cleaning.
It is important to clarify that the value of the security deposit does not include the cost of renting
the vehicle. It is important to note that the security deposit does not include the cost of the
vehicle rental.
CANCELLATION POLICY.
There is NO cancellation charge, and customers are free to cancel their reservation up to pick up
time.
RESERVATION POLICY.
The customer will have a grace period of 2 hours if they provide their flight number. The
reservation will remain valid. If the customer does not arrive after the grace period, they will be
contacted to confirm whether they still require the rental or wish to cancel it.
MILEAGE
Unlimited mileage.
No charges will be made for excess mileage.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS.
Additional drivers must be between 25 and 68 years old (USD 5/day) per driver.
• 21-24 years old, you will have to pay a young driver fee (USD 20/day)
• 69 and 75 years old, you will have to pay a senior driver's fee (USD 15/day)

An additional day is considered after 2 hours, charges will apply for that day.
FUEL POLICY
Return with the same amount granted to avoid refueling charges. If fuel is missing upon return, you
will pay according to current internal rates at the rental counter.

12 Hour Roadside Assistance 8 AM-8 PM
EXTRAS
Extras and Equipment should be requested at the counter from a rental agent and will be charged
on a per-day basis.
GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS.
Crossing borders is not permitted.
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS.
In case of accident, after calling 911 customer must call the office to get assistance, assistance may
very depending the type of accident and the type of insurance they selected, if the assistance
given to the client is not included in the coverage selected at the counter, extra charges may apply
at the time of return.
