DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to provide the service:
• Driver must be 25yrs-75 yrs old, driver above or below this age limit will attract a fee. No
driver below 21 yrs will be allowed to drive no driver 88 yrs will be alowed to drive.
• Identification document: Identification from your country of residence and Passport
• Driver's license: Original and valid.
• Credit card: With available credit for the security deposit/bond.
All major credit cards are accepted: Mastercard, Visa, and American Express
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Some credit cards allow coverage in jamaica card holder should verify with card company if
coverage is offered in jamaica, otherwise insurance must be purchased at the counter
Collision Demage Waiver (CDW): It reduces the liability of paymet in case of partial or total
damage to the rented vehicle by paying a deductible.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW): This is a zero deductible policy, the client walks away with charge
should ther be any kind of damage.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of $500 USD to $1,000 USD is required, depending on the category booked.
Security deposit must be made on a credit card; no cash deposit will be accepted
CANCELLATION POLICY
The Customer has wtih 24 hrs before arrival.
RESERVATION POLICY
The customer has a grace period of 2 hours to collect the vehicle. If the customer provides their
flight number, the reservation will be honoured. If the customer does not show up after the grace
period, it will be marked as a NO-SHOW.
MILEAGE
Unlimited Milage
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional driver must be minimum 21 years with a valid driver's licence, 8.00 USD per day, and
8.00usd per day if driver is below 25 years old
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
The renter must return the vehicle to the pickup location; otherwise return will attact a fee
depending on how far away the car is picked up from the location.
Delivery to any location other than the pickup location will attract a fee
FUEL POLICY
Full-full otherwise a surcharge will be applied

Extras and equipment can be requested before at the counter

ROAD ASSISTANCE
24-hour roadside assistance is offered; the client will be given a business card at the time of rental
with the telephone # for roadside assistance.
GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS
The vehicle cannot be taken off the island
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
All accidents or incidents will be assessed at the time of return
Should the client have an emergency situation, we recommend calling the emergency number.
Arrangements for towing will be made at that time if needed. Vehicle is not covered by warranty.

Pick up Instructions
Once immigration and customs are completed client must walk out the exit. The company representative will have a signboard with his/her name written on it. Please identify yourself to the representative, and the shuttle will be called to pick you up.
