DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documentation to offer the service:
• Minimum age is 25 years old and maximum age is 70 years old (If under 25 years old pay
an additional USD 15 per day and the guarantee goes up to USD 2000.00).
• Personalised credit card with the full name of the cardholder.
• Identification (Passport with photo in the case of foreign clients).
• Valid driving licence or international license.
**The payment of the rent can be in cash, credit card and debit card, but the guarantee or
deposit is always with credit card (American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, Master Card,
Visa and Eurocard).
INSURANCE INFORMATION.
PLI (Third Party Damage): This coverage is included in the reservation and is mandatory according
to the state, covers third parties up to 19,000.00 soles.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): It is mandatory and the guarantee/deposit to leave is USD 5000
and in case of damage or theft you pay up to the value of the vehicle at the time you leave the office.
LDW (No Deductible Damage Waiver Coverage): Covers Damage and theft to the vehicle with a
deductible of USD 1500.00.
SLI (Third Party Liability Extension): Covers third parties up to one hundred thousand dollars with
a USD 600.00 deductible.
GT (Wheel and Glass Coverage): Covers side glass and front and rear glass, Does not include
internal or external mirrors. Covers the tyre rubber, does not cover rims. The rate per day is USD
5.00.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The deposit or guarantee is USD 1500.00, the only method of payment accepted is by credit card
(American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, Master Card, Visa and Eurocard).
CANCELLATION POLICY.
There is no additional charge 24 hours before the service. There is no charge if the pick up is at the
office or airport (other places if you pay the penalty which is the Drop Off or Delivery).
RESERVATION POLICY.
The customer has a grace period of 1 hour. If the customer leaves their telephone number and flight
number we will contact them the day before and if there are delays for any other reason the booking
will still be honoured.
The reservation policy is 2 hours in advance in Cusco and Lima 1 day before.
MILEAGE
Unlimited mileage, the client can travel all over Peru.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS.
The minimum age for additional drivers is 25 to 70 years old and will be charged USD 5.00 per day.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
Vehicle must be returned washed for servicing
Overtime: Drop off
If the customer does not return the vehicle after 3 hours it is considered an additional day and the
charge for each hour of delay will be as follows:
Small vehicles: (CDAR - CDMR) USD 10.00 per additional hour.
Intermediate and large vehicles: (IDAR - IFAR - IDMR - FFAR - FFMR) USD 15.00 per additional
hour.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE IN ANOTHER STATE.
It is allowed to return the vehicle in another state of Lima-Cusco, the charge for delivery is USD
600.00 (In all categories), reservations must be prepaid and 15 days in advance.
FUEL POLICY.
Petrol must be returned with the same amount as was collected.
There is no penalty, but if less than the indicated amount is returned, the amount will be charged
in soles or dollars and will be paid in cash.
EXTRAS
Extras must be ordered directly at the desk.
ROAD ASSISTANCE
The additional cost is USD 6.00 (depending on the location).
GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS.
You can travel all over Peru.
Crossing to another country is not allowed.
TOLLS AND FINES.
It does not include
ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS.
If the client has coverage purchased with Wellas Rent a Car, if he has towing service (it all depends
on what coverage the client has purchased with us).

Pick up Instructions
Client at the time of booking must provide your phone with whatshapp and flight number, we will be waiting for you at the exit of the arrivals with a sign with your name, then we will take you to the office for the signing of the contract and delivery of the vehicle.(Customer must have physical driving licence, passport and credit card for warranty.)
