DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
America Car Rental requires the following documents in order to provide the service; if you do not
have the required documents, we will be unable to provide the service.
1. All hirers must be in possession of a valid, original driving license including the photo
ID.
2. Driving licenses must be held for a minimum of 1 year.
3. Driving license must be in English, Latin, Roman or Arabic alphabet.
4. An International Driving Permit is required when a driving license is not in English,
Latin, Roman or Arabic alphabet.
5. The hirer is solely responsible for ensuring that their license is valid for use in the
respective country and for determining whether an International Driving Permit is
required by local law. Failure to provide a valid license and IDP permit (as required)
will result in a non-refundable termination of the reservation at the rental counter.
6. If the hirer arrives at the rental desk without the necessary documentation, the
booking will be cancelled. In these cases, there will be no refund.
7. Additional Driver Policy: Up to 1 additional driver may be added to the rental contract
provided that any additional driver has a valid driving license& ID. The additional
driver is charged at a rate of per day. Additional drivers can only be added for the full
duration of the rental. All insurance covered as part of the rental contract will become
void, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does
not possess the required driving license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
We accept the following cards
• Credit Card (VISA / Mastercard) – (Payments & Deposit)
• Pre-Paid (VISA / Mastercard) – (Payments Only).
• Debit Card – (Payments & Deposit).
• Electronic Use Card – (Payments Only).
• Cash payment deposit: NOT ALLOWED.
Accepted cards stated above must be in the main driver’s name with sufficient funds available to
cover the excess liability. Failure to provide a valid card may result in the booking being cancelled
and no funds for the prepaid amount reimbursed. The Client who pays the rental fee by voucher
shall pay any amount contractually due in the event of entirely or partially uncollectible.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Please note that the following insurance policies may not be included in the booked rate.
All vehicles are insured with mandatory third-party liability insurance in accordance with the laws
and regulations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the applicable requirements of the
Jordan Insurance Federation.
This insurance covers damages or injuries caused to third parties only, resulting from the use of
the rented vehicle within the territory of Jordan
TPL(Civil liability coverage for property damage and/or personal injury or death of third parties).
Damage to third parties is covered 100% by the insurer (up to approximately USD 500,000).-
Included in the Price
CDW(Collision Damage Waiver): It reduces the liability of payment in case of partial or total
damage to the rented vehicle by paying a deducible - Customers may purchase CDW at the rental
desk for an additional daily fee. is NOT included in the rental price unless explicitly stated in the
booking confirmation.
SCDW(Super Collision Damage Waiver): Zero Excess. - Customers may purchase Super Collision
Damage Waiver (SCDW) for an additional charge which reduces the renter’s liability in case of
accidental damage to the vehicle.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of between USD 600 and USD 3,000 is required, depending on the category
chosen. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. If CDW is purchased, the renter’s
liability shall be limited to the deductible (excess) amount stated in the rental agreement.
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pick-up.
The deposit may be:
• Pre-authorized (blocked) on a credit card
• Charged to a credit or debit card
• Paid in cash depending on rental conditions*
The deposit may be used to cover:
• Damages to the vehicle
• Traffic violations
• Missing fuel
• Administrative fees
The renter authorizes the rental company to charge any outstanding amounts related to the
rental agreement to the provided payment method.
The security deposit will be released in full within fifteen (15) business days after the end of the
rental period, provided that no unexpected charges are incurred. Such charges may include, but
are not limited to: damage to the vehicle, traffic fines, returning the vehicle with less fuel than
when it was delivered, or the need for cleaning.
It is important to clarify that the value of the security deposit does not include the cost of renting the vehicle.
CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Cancellation Before Pickup
Reservations may be cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time free of
charge.
2. Late Cancellation
If the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time, the full reservation
amount will be charged and considered non-refundable.
RESERVATION POLICY
Minimum of 3 days and maximum of 31 days
1. Grace Period for Vehicle Pickup
Customers are granted a grace period of two (2) hours after the scheduled reservation time to
pick up the vehicle.
If the customer does not arrive within this grace period and no prior notice has been provided, the
reservation may be considered a NO-SHOW, and the vehicle may be released for other bookings.
2. Flight Delay Policy
If the customer provides a valid flight number at the time of booking, the reservation will be
monitored and honored in case of flight delays.
Our team will adjust the pickup time according to the actual flight arrival time whenever possible.
3. Late Arrival
If the customer expects to arrive later than the reserved pickup time, the customer must notify the
rental office as soon as possible via phone, email, or WhatsApp.
Failure to notify the rental company may result in reservation cancellation after the grace period.
4. No-Show Policy
A reservation will be considered a NO-SHOW if:
• The customer fails to arrive within the grace period
• The customer does not notify the rental company of the delay
• The customer does not provide required documents at pickup
In case of a No-Show, the rental company reserves the right to cancel the reservation and charge
applicable fees according to the booking platform's terms.
5. Required Documents at Pickup
At the time of vehicle pickup, the customer must present:
• A valid driving license
• A valid passport or national ID
• A valid payment method for security deposit (if required)
Failure to provide the required documents may result in reservation cancellation.
6. Vehicle Availability
The rental company will make every reasonable effort to provide the reserved vehicle category.
However, in the event that the reserved vehicle is not available due to operational reasons, the
company reserves the right to provide a similar or higher vehicle category at no additional cost.
MILEAGE
Mileage limit: For 1 and 2-day rentals: 200 km per day. Any excess mileage will be charged and
paid directly at the rental counter.
Additional mileage cost: $0.36 USD for cars, $0.60 USD for vans.
Unlimited mileage: For 3 or more days of rental.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional drivers: Must be between 25 and 68 years old (USD 7/day) per driver.
Young Driver: 21-24 years old, you will have to pay a young driver fee (USD 7/day)
Senior Driver: 65- 75 years old, you will have to pay a senior driver's fee (USD 7/day)
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
1. Vehicle Return Time
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and time stated in the rental agreement.
A grace period of up to 60 minutes may be allowed depending on operational availability.
If the vehicle is returned after the grace period, an additional rental day may be charged.
2. Early Return
If the renter returns the vehicle earlier than the agreed return date, no refund will be issued for
unused rental days, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the rental company.
3. Vehicle Condition
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear.
The renter is responsible for any damage identified during the vehicle inspection at the time of
return.
5. Late Return
If the renter fails to return the vehicle on the agreed return date without prior notice, the rental
company reserves the right to:
• Charge additional rental days
• Charge administrative fees
• Report the vehicle to the relevant authorities if necessary
6. Inspection at Return
The vehicle will be inspected at the time of return.
Any damages, missing equipment, or additional charges will be deducted from the security deposit
or charged to the renter’s payment method.
7. Personal Belongings
The rental company is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle after it has
been returned.
Customers are advised to check the vehicle before leaving.
8. Return Location
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed return location stated in the rental agreement, unless
prior written authorization is provided for a different location.
Additional one-way or relocation fees may apply.
ONE WAY – DROP-OFF
1. One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are available upon request and subject to vehicle availability and prior approval
from the rental company.
Customers may return the vehicle to a different location from the pickup location if the one-way
service has been confirmed in advance.
2. One-Way Fee
A one-way drop-off fee may apply depending on the distance between the pickup and return
locations.
The applicable fee will be confirmed at the time of booking or at the rental desk.
3. Unauthorized Drop-Off
Returning the vehicle to a location different from the agreed return location without prior
authorization may result in additional charges including:
• One-way relocation fee
• Additional rental days
• Administrative fees
4. Airport / Hotel / City Drop-Off
One-way drop-off may be available at:
• Airports
• Hotels
• Private residences
• Offices
• Other locations within the city
Availability depends on operational conditions and may require additional service charges.
5. Operational Approval
The rental company reserves the right to approve or decline one-way rental requests depending
on fleet availability and operational requirements.

FUEL POLICY
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the rental company reserves the right to charge the cost of
missing fuel plus a refueling service fee.
Fuel charges will be calculated according to the current local market fuel price.
Excess Fuel: If the vehicle is returned with more fuel than at pickup, no refund will be issued for
the excess fuel.
Customer Responsibility: The renter is responsible for ensuring the correct fuel type is used.
Any damage caused by misfueling will be the full responsibility of the renter.
EXTRAS
Extras and Equipment should be requested at the counter from a rental agent and will be charged
per day.

ACCIDENTS & INCIDENTS
1. Accident Reporting
In the event of an accident, damage, or any incident involving the rented vehicle, the renter must:
• Immediately notify the rental company
• Contact the Jordanian Traffic Police
• Obtain an official police report
Failure to report the accident to the police may result in the renter being held fully responsible for
all damages and related costs.
2. Police Report Requirement
A valid police report issued by the competent Jordanian authorities is mandatory for any insurance
claim related to accidents, damages, or theft.
Without a police report, insurance coverage may become invalid, and the renter may be
responsible for the full cost of repairs or losses.
3. Customer Responsibility
The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period and must take reasonable care to
protect the vehicle from damage or loss.
The renter must not leave the vehicle unlocked or unattended with the keys inside.
4. Unauthorized Repairs
The renter is not authorized to repair the vehicle without prior approval from the rental company.
Any repairs conducted without authorization may not be reimbursed.
5. Liability for Damages
In the event of an accident or damage, the renter may be responsible for:
• The repair cost of the vehicle
• Administrative processing fees
• Loss of use charges during the repair period
This liability applies according to the insurance coverage selected at the time of rental.
6. Theft or Attempted Theft
In case of vehicle theft or attempted theft, the renter must:
• Immediately notify the rental company
• File a report with the local police authorities
• Provide all vehicle keys and documentation
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the renter being held fully liable for the
vehicle.
