  • Los Angeles, if you haven't figured out by now, is definitely a car city. If you're planning to visit L.A, you're going to need a car rental. L.A is a city that is connected by 6,500 miles of streets and 160 miles of freeways. Watch out for pedestrians at over 40,000 intersections. The urban spread is interconnected with well maintained but intricate freeways. Getting from Point A to Point B will involve planning ahead and patience with the traffic. Always allow for more time than you anticipate - you never know what you'll encounter during the morning (7:00 A.M - 9:00 A.M) and evening (4:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M) rush hours.
