Winnipeg U-Drive Rent-A-Car accepts cash deposit rentals.

Only Economy through full-size vehicles can be rented with cash. Certain rates require a credit card deposit only. You may need a credit card to guarantee a reservation. Only drivers with a Manitoba drivers license will have the option to leave a $500 cash/debit deposit instead of a credit card at the time of rental. When the rental vehicle is returned in accordance with the rental terms and conditions, the cash deposit refund will be mailed to the customer up to 30 days following the return date of the rental vehicle. Renter may require a Phone Bill or Utility bill in the renter's name that is not a cellular phone bill and can be verified through directory assistance, or a recent monthly statement that does not show past due status. The address on bill must match address in renter's profile. At the time of rental the renter must make a cash deposit in addition to the cost of the rental.
