US Rent A Car began operating at Las Vegas in 1978. Serving McCarran International Airport, the world famous Las Vegas "Strip", Downtown and surrounding areas of Las Vegas. US Rent A Car began in terminal operations February 2005, and will be moving into the McCarran airport Consolidated Rent A Car Facilities when completed.

The US Rent A Car primary rental depot is located at 4744 Paradise road, one half mile north of Tropicana avenue and 1.5 miles south of the Hard Rock hotel casino. US Rent A Car is an affiliate of Advantage Rent A Car.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 21

Renters & all drivers under 25 years of age, are subject to a $20.00 per day surcharge. Nevada residence are required to present proof of residence, and may be required to provide proof of employment. Convertible, SUV, Speciality, Luxury vehicles and 15 passenger vans require that all drivers to be at least twenty-five years of age and present two valid credit cards.


Cash Deposit Rentals

US Rent-A-Car accepts cash deposit rentals.

Cash Deposit rental clients require pre-authorization to confirm the reservation. Client must contact rental depot 1-800-777-9377 between 8AM & 3PM Monday through Friday. All cash deposit refunds are paid by company check, and are mailed to the clients rental contract address within ten (10) days of the rental contract closing.


Airport Service

US Rent-A-Car is located at the airport.

Effective February 3, 2005 US Rent A Car began severing clients from their new rental counter located at the main baggage claim area of McCarran International Airport at Las Vegas Nevada.

Arriving client's should proceed directly to the US Rent A Car customer service counter, located at the entrance of the baggage claim. Courtesy shuttle service operates 24/7. The pick up point at McCarran Airport has been relocated. US Rent A Car's shuttle vehicle assigned pick up location is now with the On Airport Rental Car companies. Staff at the customer service counter, or at the main rental depot will provide clients with specific details upon request.


Pickup / Dropoff Services

US Rent-A-Car provides pickup / dropoff services.

US offers courtesy shuttle service to and from major strip hotels and casino's. Each hotel has its own designated car rental pick up area. Because plans change, call to confirm pickup time 1.5 hours before schedules reservation pickup time.
