Customer must present a valid national or international drivers license, passport and major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners) at vehicle pick-up.

Rental payment is due upon vehicle pick-up. In addition, the credit card must have an available balance equivalent to US$600 as a guarantee (this amount is not charged but must be authorized).

Vehicles may not be taken out of Chile unless prior authorization has been given. (See Geographical Restrictions)

Collision & Third Party Liability insurance is mandatory.

Vehicle makes and models shown are subject to availability at the time of pick-up and may be substituted for vehicles of similar characteristics without prior notice.

Prices are subject to change without notice unless a reservation has been confirmed in writing.

You may pick-up or drop-off your vehicle at the airport or any hotel in Santiago at any time, day or night.

Pick-up/drop-off at no charge Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM. From 8:00 AM to 8:59 AM, 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, there is an off-hour charge of $12.60 USD. Between 9:31 PM and 7:59 AM any day, the off-hour charge is $42.40 USD. All charges are subject to sales tax.

Pick-up and/or drop-off outside office hours must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.

A valid driver's license from the country of residence or an international license must be shown at the time of rental together with a passport for each driver.

Note: an international license is not obligatory.

Rentals do not include gasoline. Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of gasoline as at pick-up otherwise a local refueling charge will apply. Excess gasoline is not reimbursed.

Out of town pick-up or drop-off is available with the following additional charges and minimum rental restrictions depending on the distance from Santiago:

From 15 to 150 Km, cost $51 USD, minimum rental 3 days.
From 151 to 300 Km, cost $96 USD, minimum rental 1 week.
From 301 to 500 Km, cost $159 USD, minimum rental 1 week.
From 501 to 700 Km, cost $207 USD, minimum rental 2 weeks.
From 701 to 1000 Km, cost $329 USD, minimum rental 2 weeks.
The maximum distance permitted is 1,000 Km (625 mi) from Santiago. All amounts are subject to sales tax.

All sales, fees and surcharges are subject to 19% sales tax.

There is no tax exemption for foreigners for car rentals. Tax exemption is applicable to lodging expenses only.

In case of emergency, our vehicles have 24x7 roadside assistance throughout Chile.

Additional driver must be 23+ years old and present drivers license and passport. No charge for an additional driver.

Vehicles may travel to Argentina, subject to an additional charge which covers additional insurance and permits. Requires minimum 1 week advance notice. Vehicles may not be taken to any other country.

Cash deposits are not accepted.

Collision damage, theft protection and third party liability insurance is sold as a combined product at 13.30 USD/day plus tax. Insurance is mandatory.
*** Collision Damage / Theft Protection *** Covers damage to, or theft of, the rental vehicle over and above 660.00 USD up to its fair market value. A deductible of 660.00 USD will apply in any event regardless of fault.
*** Third Party Liability *** TPL covers civil liability up to approximately 20,000 USD for damage to third-parties causing injury, death or damage to their property. In case of injury or death, coverage is limited to medical or funeral expenses. TPL has no deductible.
*** Extended Third Party Liability *** ETPL (optional) extends the civil liability limit to 400,000 USD. Cost 3.10 USD/day plus tax.
*** Reduced Deductible Supplement *** RDS (optional) lowers the LDW deductible to 230.00 USD. Restrictions: 1) driver(s) must be 25+ years old; 2) minimum rental 1 week; 3) must be contracted in advance of vehicle pick-up; 4) does not cover theft of radio or vehicle accessories. Cost 4.90 USD/day plus tax.
*** Exclusions *** Insurance will not cover any damage if the driver is driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Insurance does not cover damage due to misuse or abuse of the vehicle. Insurance does not cover damage to wheels, tires or windshields.
