Our office is 15 - 20 minutes from the airport.

You may pick-up or drop-off your vehicle at the airport or any hotel in Santiago at any time, day or night.

Pick-up/drop-off at no charge Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM. From 8:00 AM to 8:59 AM, 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, there is an off-hour charge of 11.80 USD. Between 9:31 PM and 7:59 AM any day, the off-hour charge is 41.33 USD. All charges are subject to sales tax.

Pick-up and/or drop-off outside office hours must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.

Loss Damage Waiver & Third Party Liability insurance (LDW/TPL) is mandatory at US$12/day plus tax.

Customer must present a valid national or international drivers license, passport and major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners) at vehicle pick-up.

Rental payment is due upon vehicle pick-up. In addition, the credit card must have an available balance equivalent to US$600 as a guarantee (this amount is not charged but must be authorized).

Vehicles may not be taken out of Chile unless prior authorization has been given. (See Geographical Restrictions)

Vehicles may be taken to Argentina with the purchase of permits and additional insurance. Cost 244.00 USD for 30 days, 329.00 USD for 180 days, all amounts plus tax. Includes up to 3 permits for border crossing. Additional permits 5.00 USD each plus tax. Valid for multiple entry during the time period contracted. Must be booked at least 10 days in advance of vehicle pick-up. Renter must inform the number of permits for border crossings desired on booking.

Vehicles cannot be picked-up nor returned in Argentina.

Vehicles must be returned to Chile by the same driver authorized to take it out.

For insurance reasons, vehicles cannot be taken into any other country other than Argentina.

Out of town pick-up or drop-off is available with the following additional charges and minimum rental restrictions depending on the distance from Santiago:

Distance 15 to 150 Km, cost 51.00 USD, minimum rental 3 days.

Distance 151 to 300 Km, cost 96.00 USD, minimum rental 1 week.

Distance 301 to 500 Km, cost 159.00 USD, minimum rental 1 week.

Distance 501 to 700 Km, cost 207.00 USD, minimum rental 10 days.

Distance 701 to 1000 Km, cost 329.00 USD, minimum rental 10 days.

The maximum distance permitted is 1,000 Km (625 mi) from Santiago. All amounts plus tax.

A valid drivers license from the country of residence or an international license must be shown at the time of rental together with a valid passport for each driver.

Rentals do not include gasoline. Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of gasoline as at pick-up otherwise a local refueling charge will apply. Excess gasoline is not reimbursed.

Reservation cancellations must be informed as early as possible, and not less than 24 hours prior to vehicle pick-up.

No-shows are charged 1 day of rent plus surcharges and taxes. If the vehicle has been dispatched to the airport, a 20 USD service charge will also be applied.

All sales, fees and surcharges are subject to 19% value added tax.

There are no tax exemptions for foreigners for car rentals. (Tax exemptions are available for lodging expenses only)
