Florida residents, or those without a return airline ticket and renting from our Orlando location, get 100 free miles per day, 750 free miles per week and 2,400 free miles per month. Florida residents picking up at our other locations get 150 Free Miles Per Day / 1050 Free Miles Per Week. Vehicles are NOT permitted out of the State of Florida. Florida Residents can not use Debit Cards. Renters must have verifiable home address with corresponding land line phone number.
Some vehicles are FLY AND DRIVE only. Please view the vehicle descriptions page for more information. For instance; Luxury, Convertible and Premium vehicles can only be rented by out of State Customers that can provide proof of inbound and out bound airline tickets. Luxury vehicles can not be rented with a debit card or with sub-par insurance.

I Will Call For The Free Airport Shuttle
After you have your bags request our FREE airport shuttle by using the courtesy phone in baggage claim, or use your cell phone to call your rental office directly.
Tell the agent which airport you are at, that you have your bags and need shuttle instructions.
I Am Bringing My Proof Of Full Coverage Insurance
Renters & additional drivers must bring proof of Full Coverage, Liability & Collision in their own names to decline coverages. Please bring documentation that shows Renter has Primary Coverage that will follow into the rental vehicle. Remember some credit cards cover Collision but none of them cover Liability. Additional charges may apply at time of rental. Renters with out proof will be required to purchase coverage.
I Only Have A Debit Card & Have Read Policies
Using a major credit card is the best way to rent a car in Orlando. If you only have a debit card the you must provide proof of Full Coverage Insurance and purchase this Debit Card Waiver (DCW) in the amount equal to renters personal insurance deductible. Debit Card Waivers start from $4.99 per day for up to a $250 Deductible and increases based on your actual deductible. DCW is not insurance. We can NOT take PrePaid debit cards.

When you select our Deductible Damage Waiver option, you are covering your deductible on your automobile insurance. Cost of DDW starts at $4.95/day and varies by amount of your deductible. Protect Me From Loss Of Use
When you select our Loss of Waiver (LOU), you avoid having to continue paying for the vehicle while is sits in the shop waiting for repairs caused while in your possession. Cover Me For Collision Damage
Sunshine Rent A Car offers optional protection packages. Collision Damage Waiver (not insurance) is an option available for an additional daily charge which when offered waives or reduces the customer's responsibility for loss or damage to the rental car, provided the car is used in accordance with all terms and conditions of the car rental agreement. I Need Supplemental Liability Insurance
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) provides you and authorized drivers with liability protection for claims made against you by others for bodily injury or death and/or property damage from the use or operation of the rental car. This coverage is in excess over your own personal insurance up to 1,000,000.00
