A down payment of $200 will be taken at the time of booking a reservation. The down payment is applied toward the cost of the rental. The down payment is non-refundable on cancellation.

If for any reason you are unable to rent the motor home, Rent4Less will hold the non-refundable $200 down payment for 1 year from the scheduled pick-up date. Within this time, you can re-reserve a motor home and apply the $200 down payment to the new reservation.

A one-time modification to your scheduled pickup and return dates is allowed, based on availability. The modification is subject to a $25.00 service fee. The renter will be issued a new confirmation number.

Cancellation Fees are as follows

If rental is canceled greater than 39 days prior to pick up date, 20% of total quoted rental cost is non-refundable.

If rental is canceled 22-39 days prior to pick up date, 60% of total quoted rental cost is non-refundable.

If rental is canceled 6-21 days prior to pick up date, 80% of total quoted rental cost is non-refundable.

If rental is canceled 0-5 days prior to pick up date, 100% of total quoted rental cost is non-refundable.

A security deposit of $500.00 is required on departure, and will be applied to the cost of the rental.

Monday - Friday: pick up time 1:00pm - 5:00pm.

Saturday - Sunday: pickup time from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Early pick up is available only on request by phoning 24hr ahead.

On Monday to Sunday all motor homes have to be returned by 11:00 am. You can return the motor home later on the same day with the authorization of the Office. Otherwise a late fee of $35 / hour will be charged.

Early drop offs and unused miles are nonrefundable.

Customer agrees to return the motor home in the same condition as he/she received it, otherwise he/she will be charged a cleaning fee (see extra charges on the damage sheet).

During high-season, the minimum rental length is 7 days. During low- and mid-season the minimum rental length is 3 days. On a holiday, the minimum rental length is 5 days.

An International Driving Permit is required with the official driver’s license of the issuing country.

Motor homes are not permitted to go through Death Valley between June 16th September 16th because of extreme heat

Vehicle is not allowed to drive on non-public roads and selected highways, including the Apache Trail in Arizona.

In Mexcio, the customer is restricted to driving with the Baja California only. The customer is fully responsible to return the vehicle to USA side of the border. Rent 4 less must be advised at the time of reservation and surcharge will apply. Customer must provide Mexican Insurance or purchase the Insurance from USA.

Motor homes may not be driven to Burning Man Festival.

Motor homes are permitted to drive to Alaska, the Northwest Territories, Yukon and Canada but must be confirmed in advance. A prepaid supplement of USD $425 is required and is non refundable.

Due to high theft rates of motor homes in the Montreal area, we do not allow the RV’s to be driven, camped or parked anywhere within the greater Metropolitan Area of Montreal.
If any losses incurred while in the area, the renter will be fully responsible.

Rent4Less offers an Extended Liability and Vacation Interruption Protection (ELVIP) for motor homes for USD $18/day with a set maximum of USD $480/rental. The ELVIP protects the Renter to Statutory Limits. Taking the ELVIP has benefits and fixed rates.

With ELVIP the accidental damage responsibility of the renter is reduced to USD $500.

The deductible amount against theft and vandalism is USD $1000. This amount though it reduces the Renter’s Liability however does not apply to the exceptions mentioned in the Rental Agreement, for which the Renters responsibility remains USD $2500.

ELVIP covers expenses in the event of a mechanical breakdown for more than 12 working hours after reporting such to Rent4Less. Malfunctioning of the generator, air-conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, and other appliances are not considered as mechanical breakdowns.

The Renter will be reimbursed for hotel rooms up to USD $25/person/night and car rental up to USD $30/day per motor home that is unable to drive to a maximum of USD $1000/hour.

To make the above claims the Renter must present all original receipts for refund of expenses during the course of the motor home rental.

The following losses are not covered if damage is caused by accidents as a result of the drivers’ negligence: 1.Accidents while backing.
2.Accidents occurring off the road.
3.Damages caused by misuse of slide out and awnings.
4.Damages caused by freezing the vehicle systems. Filling of water tanks when temperatures are below freezing is not permitted
5.Not using seat belts, and traveling with more passengers than the seat belts available.
6.NOT using the specified or correct fuel.
7.Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
8.Traveling in restricted areas.
9.Personal property is not covered at any time.
10.Willful or deliberate damage caused to the property of the Renter.

ELVIP coverage is null and void if the customers fail to file an accident/damage report within 24 hours or if any of the Terms and Conditions listed in the contract is not adhered to.
Deposit for ELVIP is USD $500. This will be strictly enforced.

Rental Liability Insurance (RLI) is required under California Law.

Protects the "Renter" and listed "Additional Drivers" against the claim made by a third party for bodily injuries, and or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while operating a rental vehicle.

Protects as Primary Insurance up to all States Minimums.

Protects against Uninsured &Underinsured Motorist.

Insurance IS NOT included in the cost of rental.

In California, the renter is liable for all damage to the Rent4Less vehicle regardless of fault. The renter is also liable for loss of use of the vehicle (revenue lost while the car is being repaired).

Renters may purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) which relieves them of financial responsibility (after USD $2500 deductible per occurence) for loss or damage to the motor home.

If the customer does not abide by the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement, the Collision Damage Waiver is void.

Exceptions - The customer is responsible for all damages caused as a result of use including: 1. Any interior damage
2. Customer caused the damage by backing up the Vehicle
3. Damage during use off public road (service stations, campgrounds, parking lots etc.)
4. All glass damage
5. Striking overhead objects
6. Undercarriage damage, including tires and wheels.
7. Freezing or overheating vehicle.
Of the above, customer must settle any claims with his/her Insurance Company.

CDW insurance is not included in cost of rental.

Protects against the loss or damages of the "Personal Effects" of 1. Renter 2. Additional Authorized Driver (Listed in the rental agreement) 3. Immediate family members (permanently residing in the same Household of the renter and traveling within the rental vehicle).

Maximum Coverage $USD 750/person up to maximum USD $2500/accident

Insurance is not included in cost of rental.

Protects the "Renter" and the "Passengers" for bodily injuries and death caused while traveling within the enclose portion of a rental vehicle.

1. Death Benefit USD $250,000(renter) USD $100,000(passenger).

2. Medical Expenses USD $2500(renter) and USD $2500(passenger).

3. Ambulance expense USD $500(renter) and USD $500(passenger).

Insurance is not included in cost of rental.

Pets are not allowed

Smoking is not permitted in any motor home.

Renter is responsible to check and refill all fluids

Oil change is necessary after 5000 miles

Repair and Parts: all repairs that excess over USD $50 must be approved in advance by our Rental Locations by calling (866-478-7368). We will reimburse expenses for repairs and oil changes upon presentation of original receipts.

If customer travels into cold / freezing areas he/she is responsible to winterize the motor home (for professional help go to a RV Dealership or any garage that performs service). It is the customer's responsible to de-winterize the vehicle in warmer areas. The cost is refundable if the customer brings the original receipt. We will hold the customer responsible for any burst water pipes, water tanks etc. If customer fails to pay for such charges, he/she will be charged a fee and we will hold the security deposit.

In the event of a break-down, at no fault of the customer, and the repair is for 12 hours or more, Rent4Less will only be responsible to refund the cost of the daily rate.

Radio, air conditioner, microwave, refrigerator, cruise control, automatic steps, generator, awning, slide-out and appliances are not considered as breakdowns and no refunds are available for time and repair.

Parking tickets or other traffic violations have to be paid by customer. Customer has to report all traffic and parking violations to the drop off station. If not reported we will charge the Customer an additional fine of USD $100.

The cost of gasoline and propane are not included .All vehicles are rented out with full tanks and the customer is expected to return the vehicle with full tanks or will be charged accordingly.

Storage is provided free of charge at selected rental centers at owner’s risk. Parking is not available.

Towing is allowed only up to 1500lbs with preapproval from the Rental Agent. Customer has to provide his own tow hitch. Customer is responsible for any damage to the third party injury or towed object inflicted by the towed object, unless the Customer purchases the Insurance "Rental Liability Insurance" from Rent4Less.

In case of an accident notify Rent4Less immediately and always get a police report. The police may not always come to the accident scene. You will be responsible for any damages whether or not you are at fault. If you cannot get a police report you must get the other party’s information such of drivers license number, phone number, policy number and policy expiration date.
While filling out the accident report, explain the details of accident, full name, vehicle license number, insurance information and registration information.


Note: You must report all accident within 24 hours. This process and requirements are applicable to all the International Customers as well.

Bikes are available at most rental locations by advanced reservation. We offer 2 or 4 bikes with carriers. Customers can also rent bike carriers alone.

All these items must be pre-ordered, but will be paid at the location where the motor home is picked up.

Preparation fee is included in local rental rates.

Included in Standard Kit: KOA Atlas, Operation’s Manual, Road Atlas, Campground Guide, First Aid Kit, 110V Adaptor, Flash Light & Batteries, Sewer and Water Hose. One time filled up Propane and Water tank, Chemicals, Toilet paper and cleaning vehicle.

Generators are available for rental and are charged at $3.00 / hour of usage.
