- Insurance Options For 21 year olds plus

Third Party insurance is included in the quoted rate. The third party insurance covers you for all damage to a third party vehicle in the unlikely event of an accident.
You are required to then take either one of following Insurance options:

Option 1 : Insurance excess $1000.00 (NZD)
Option 2 : Insurance excess $100.00,
Pay Additional $8.00 (NZD) per day
(NOTE: This option does not cover
window and tyre damage)

Option 3 : Insurance excess nil, Pay Additional $12.00 (NZD) per day
(NOTE: This option covers all damage including windows and tyres)

Additional Tyre/Windscreen Waiver: $4.00 (NZD)

JUCY RENTALS STRONGLY RECOMMENDS OUR CUSTOMERS TO TAKE THE EXCESS REDUCTION OPTIONS TO MINIMISE EXCESS EXPOSURE AND TRAVEL WITH PEACE OF MIND.

Exclusions

Excess options do not cover water submersion or salt-water damage. All
excess
options are void if the terms of the rental agreement are breached.

- Insurance Options For 18 to 20 year olds

Third Party insurance is included in the quoted rate. The third party insurance covers you for all damage to a third party vehicle in the unlikely event of an accident.

You are required to then take either one of two following Insurance options:

Option 1 : Insurance excess $2000.00 (NZD)

Option 2 : Insurance excess $1000.00, Pay Additional $15.00 (NZD) per day

(NOTE: This option does not cover window and tyre damage)

Option 3 : Insurance excess $100, Pay Additional $20.00 (NZD) per day

(NOTE: This option covers all damage including windows and tyres)

- Bond

A bond is required for all hires. You will be asked to sign a separate
security bond in the form of a credit card imprint. Cash bonds are not accepted by Jucy Rentals.
This bond is held by Jucy and is NOT banked; it is our guarantee that the
vehicle will be returned on time and in the condition that it was hired in.

- Tax

Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T) of 12.5% is included in all daily hire
prices.

- Airport Transfer

Auckland Airport Branch: Jucy provides a free transfer service to our nearby
branch. Please call us on the free phone boards at Visitor Information or
free call us on 0800 399 736.

Christchurch Branch & Queenstown Branch: Jucy provides a free transfer service to our nearby
branch. Please call us on the free phone boards at Visitor Information or
free call us on 0800 399 736.

- Cancellations

If a booking is cancelled within 5 days period prior to the start of the
hire there is no refund of the booking deposit (20% of hire)
If the booking is cancelled outside this period there is a full refund of
the deposit paid.
THERE IS NO REFUND FOR EARLY RETURN OF THE VEHICLE

- Infringements

We reserve the right to charge the hirer for any speeding or parking fines
associated administration costs and / or accidents incurring third party
property damage reported on return of the vehicle.
