We rent to all kinds of groups. Church groups, tour groups, schools, and various companies in and out of the state of Alaska.

Special Services

We offer a free shuttle service anywhere in the Anchorage bowl. This service does not cover the Fort Richardson area or government hill. Please keep in mind when being picked up at the airport, the airport does charge an additonal 8% airport access fee.

Anchorage is a beautiful city with all kinds of tourist attractions. Most of our customers, especially in the summer, drive down to Sewrd, Homer, Whittier, and up north to Fairbanks and Denali National Park.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 18

Our renters must be at least 18 years old to rent a car, and at least 25 to rent 15 passenger vans and full size SUV's. Our young driver fee, for those drivers between 21 and 25 years old is $10.00 a day and between 18 and 21 $20.00 a day. You must have a valid driver's license and a major credit card in your name. If you are under 21 you must have your own full coverage insurance that transfers to rental cars.


Cash Deposit Rentals

High Country Car & Truck Rental accepts cash deposit rentals.

Cash rental accepted with $500.00 USD to $750.00 USD cash deposit and approx rental charge. Debit cards accepted with $350.00 USD deposit and approx rental charge. Credit Card required to book any Van rentals.


Airport Service

High Country Car & Truck Rental provides shuttle service to and from the airport.

We offer a courtesy shuttle to and from the Anchorage International Airport. Please keep in mind that we are about 2 miles away from the airport. If picked up on Airport Property an 8% airport access fee would be applied to the total rental charges. When you arrive, you will need to give us a call at 907-562-8078 or #22 if dialing from the kiosk, and we will gladly send our shuttle out to pick you and your party up. There is no charge for a shuttle back to the airport.


Pickup / Dropoff Services

High Country Car & Truck Rental provides pickup / dropoff services.

We provide pick up and drop off services to Denali, Fairbanks, Whittier, Seward, and Homer. We also provide one way rentals to Whittier and Seward. Please give us a call for details and pricing.
