Finding Rental Location
Hibbing and Grand Rapids rental offices are located directly in the airport terminal.
Duluth location is 1 mile off airport.
Gas
Return vehicle with same level of fuel as was rented to avoid refuelling charges.
International Renters
All valid US, Canadian, and International Licences are accepted.
24 hour pickup and drop off
For after hours pickup, the rental information will be left at the Northwest ticket counter.
No-Show Policy
There is a 1 day rental fee charge for no-show rentals. This charge will be put on the credit card that you reserved the vehicle with.
Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 21
Age 21 to 24 - $10.00 US surcharge applies per day.
Additional Drivers
1 additional drivers permitted an additional chargeof $ 20.00 applies per day(per additional driver)
Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 21
No charge for spouse as additional driver.
Driving Area
Driving is limited to anywhere in USA and Canada.

Insurance Policies and Surcharges
The renter's personal insurance needs to cover the rental vehicle or the renter must have a valid credit card that will offer such rental insurance coverage (i.e. Amex, Gold/Platnium visa & Mastercard).

Cancelation Policy
Cancellation of a rental within 24 hours of scheduled rental time is subject to a 1 day rental fee.
Insurance and Coverage
Acar Auto Rental does not offer a 'collision damage waiver' (CDW). The renters personal auto insurance needs to transfer over to the rental vehicle. Also, Visa/Mastercard gold and platinum cards and American Express cards offer this coverage when they are used for payment of rental.
