All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.

After hours drop with airport shuttle service available. One time fee of $15.00. Contact location for details.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo driver's license and a major credit card in his/her own name.
Ages 21-24 add an additional 25.00 per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

CDW
$9.00 /day for Economy, Compact, and Intermediate class cars.
$15.00 /day for all other vehicle classes.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. There are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional. Your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

Accepted on Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size cars and Minivans only.

The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $350.00 will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

From North on Highway 101:
Take exit 419B for Broadway, stay right on fork, make a right turn on Rollins Rd. Payless is on your left.

From South on Highway 101:
Take exit 419B, keep left follow the curve, merge onto Broadway, make a right turn on Rollins Rd. Payless is on your left.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Vehicles may be equipped with a Global Positioning Device (GPS). The use of the product, if applicable, will be disclosed at the time of rental.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the state of California, with the exception of South Lake Tahoe city limits Reno city limits and Las Vegas city limits in NV. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge of .50 cents per mile for each mile driven during the length of your rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.

Renter Liability Protection: $19.99 per day If you wish to purchase an optional liability policy that will provide primary coverage, you may purchase Renter Liability Protection (RLP) which provides primary coverage for liability losses up to the California statutory minimum. Exclusions may apply.

Supplemental Liability Protection: $11.99 per day Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) - is an optional excess auto liability insurance policy that provides a combined single limit coverage of $1 Million per occurrence. Exclusions may apply.

The purchase of optional insurance products is not required to rent the vehicle.

IN ADDITION TO ALL OTHER POLICIES, RENTERS RESIDING IN SAN FRANCISCO,SAN MATEO,SANTA CLARA,ALAMEDA,CONTRA COSTA,MARIN AND SOLANO COUNTIES MUST COMPLETE A LOCAL RENTER APPLICATION. A 350.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT IN ADDITION TO THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE RENTAL WILL BE HELD AGAINST YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. DEBIT CARDS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED FOR PAYMENT WHEN PRESENTED WITH A CURRENT UTILITY BILL MATCHING ADDRESS ON DRIVER'S LICENSE, OTHERWISE A MAJOR CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED.

Credit Card Hold:
The estimated amount of the rental plus a security deposit will be
authorized against your credit card at the time of rental.

Local renter requirements: $350.00 security on Credit or Debit cards.

Debit Cards:
accepted on economy through full size cars or minivans only. The estimated
amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $350.00 will be assessed
against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be
available four your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on
your bank to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned
checks or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

Business Credit Cards must also display the renters name.

PAC/PAI - $4.99 per day
Personal Accident Coverage/Personal Accident Insurance: By electing to purchase optional PAC/PAI coverage at the designated daily rate, the renter and any of his passengers are insured while occupying the rental vehicle subject to all provisions of the group policy.

PEC - $4.99 per day
Personal Effects Coverage: PEC provides coverage for actual cash value of personal property which the renter is traveling with against loss or damage. When the renter has shown acceptance on the rental agreement, the renter and renter's immediate family are insured for the period of rental, subject to all provisions of the group policy.

All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. See also age, driver''s license, driving records, and credit cards.

LOCAL RENTER RESTRICTIONS

In addition to all other policies, Local Renters must also provide a utility bill matching their name and address. These items are required at time of rental in order to qualify. We do require 350.00 security, in addition to the cost of the rental upfront.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.

If you purchase our Roadside Service Plan (RSP) we will waive all, or a
portion of the cost of a roadside assistance call up to the amount of
$125.00 per incident. The cost is $2.99 per day. Benefits include emergency
road service towing, winching, jump start, flat tire change-spare tire
installation, lockout service and emergency fuel delivery. Some restrictions
apply; ask for a copy of an RSP brochure at the rental counter.

San Francisco International Airport

The Payless Shuttle operates during business hours. Pick up and return from the Airport Car Rental Center.
Upon arrival, please call the rental for pick up at.

Directions to Shuttle:

- Take the AIR TRAIN that runs from the baggage claim area of the terminal to the Rental Car Center Take the elevator or escalator to level 1 and proceed outside the building to ISLAND 3.
- The Payless Shuttle will be waiting for you. If you have not already contacted us for pick up a courtesy phone is available at ISLAND 3 to contact our office.

Car Seat Infant / Toddler - $10.00 per day.

GPS units - $11.99 per day.

DISABLED DRIVERS - **Reservations to request disability equipment should be
placed only by calling 1-800-PAYLESS**

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of
special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed.
If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us
at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process your request and send a confirmation
response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting
location.

ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR DISABLED RENTERS

A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a disabled renter will
be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of
age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Payless
representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be
present at the time of the transaction.
