All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Additional driver fee: $ 6.95 per day per additional driver.

Vehicles may be returned 24 hours a day.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name.

Renters 21 through 24 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit in his/her own name - add an additional $24.95 per day surcharge.

CDW $19.95 per day for Economy through Full Sized Vehicles

CDW $24.95 per day for Convertibles, Specialty, SUV, Vans

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional; your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

Debit cards are accepted. Renters must show proof of round trip airline ticket at the time of rental.

Eligible debit cards must have the Visa, Mastercard or Discover logo. Stored value / prepaid / gift cards are not acceptable to qualify for rental.

The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $300.00 will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

Rental must be in reservation name. Reservation may not be altered at the time of rental.

A confirmation of your reservation does not mean that your debit / check card is acceptable.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

The use of the vehicle is restricted to PA, OH, WV, MD, DC, NY, NJ. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge of .32 cents for each mile driven during the duration of your rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle."


Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLIA) You can purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLIA) at $8.95 per rental day. If you do, your liability coverage increases to as much as $1 million combined single limit for each accident. This coverage greatly expands your liability protection, perhaps even beyond your own personal auto policy. Restrictions apply; ask for a copy of an SLIA brochure at the rental counter.

Local renters must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license and a credit card in his/her own name and proof of transferable liablity insurance.

Credit Card Hold:
The estimated amount of the rental plus 25% or a minimum of $250.00 will be authorized against your credit card at the time of rental.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid pasport
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number

Local Renters:
Must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license and a credit card in his/her own name and proof of tranferable liablity insurance.

DISABLED DRIVERS - **Reservations to request disability equipment should be placed only by calling 1-800-PAYLESS**

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed.
If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting location.

AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR VISUAL IMPAIRED RENTERS

A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a disabled renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Payless representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at the time of the transaction
