Additional drivers must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.

Additional driver surcharge is $5.00 per day. Spouse is exempt from surcharge.

24 hours after hours return available with complimentary shuttle service to the airport. Please inquire at rental counter.

Renter must be 23 years of age with a valid photo drivers license and major credit card in his/her own name.

Ages 23-24 Add $25.00 per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rental vehicle. If you purchase and pay for Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility may vary according to the type of vehicle you rent.

Even if you purchase Collision Damage Waiver we will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver, such as causing damage to the rented vehicle while intoxicated, racing or by your willful or intentional actions. Please read paragraph 5 of the Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional. Your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.

Debit Cards displaying the Visa or Mastercard Logo are accepted. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount of $200.00 will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the Tri State Area of PA, NJ and DE. Violation of the restriction may result in a mileage charge for each mile driven during the duration of the rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle."

SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE

SLI - $12.99 per day

You can purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI). SLI increases liability coverage to an amount up to $1 million combined single limit for each accident (the amount depends on which Payless location makes the rental; rates vary by state). This coverage expands your liability protection, perhaps even beyond your own personal auto policy. SLI is an optional product and its purchase is not a condition of rental.

One way rentals are not permitted at this time.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) :

$4.00 per day, up to 5 passengers

By electing to purchase optional PAI coverage at the designated daily rate, the renter and any of his passengers are insured while occupying the rental vehicle subject to all provisions of the group policy.

Personal Effects Coverage (PEC)

Not offered at this time.

All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card or debit card displaying the Visa or Master Card Logo in his/her own name at the time of rental. Debit card users are not permitted to rent a Standard or Full Size vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid driver's license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number.

Philadelphia International Airport

Shuttle service provided to and from the airport. Upon arrival call the rental location.

Child Seat Infant /Toddler- $6.95 per day

.DISABLED DRIVERS - **Reservations to request disability equipment should be placed only by calling 1-800-PAYLESS**

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed. If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting location.

AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR VISUAL IMPAIRED RENTERS

A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a disabled renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Payless representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at the time of the transaction
