Additional must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Additional driver surcharge is $ 3.50 per day, each driver, 2 maximum additional drivers.

After hour returns are permitted.

Renter must be 23 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name.

Renters 23 to 25 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name, add an additional $5.00 per day surcharge.

Collision Damage Waiver / Responsibility for Vehicle Damage: If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle, regardless of cause.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset depending on the type of package you select. There are exclusions from CDW. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

#1 Deductible Package Plan
$18.50 per day for EC, CC, IC vehicles
$23.50 per day for FC,.SUV, MV
Combines CDW with Liability Insurance, includes a $2,000 deductible.

#2 Zero Deductible Plan
$34.49 per day EC, CC, IC
$39.49 per day FC, SUV, MV
Combines CDW with Liability Insurance, no deductible.

If at the time of rental, the customer cannot present proof of coverage for Panamanian Liability and /or Collision /Comprehensive Insurance, he/she will be required to purchase Liability and CDW as a condition of rental. International travelers should be prepared to present valid proof of conforming coverage including a description of coverage of the Liability and Collision limits.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank.

OPTION 1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION 2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the country of Panama. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge of .35 cents for each kilometer driven during the duration of your rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

LIABILITY INSURANCE

Liability insurance protects you against claims for injury or damage you cause to third persons or their property. It does not cover injury to you, or damage to the rented vehicle.
If at the time of rental, the customer cannot present proof of coverage for Panamanian Liability insurance, he/she will be required to purchase Liability as a condition of rental. International travelers should be prepared to present valid proof of conforming coverage including a description of coverage of the Liability limits.

LIABILITY INSURANCE is available at a cost of: $12.99/Day, which offers coverage against damages to third parties and their property up to $10,000 per occurrence.

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is offered at a cost of $6 per day. This coverage extends liability coverage against third party claims up to $300,000 per occurrence.

CDW and LI are also offered as a package. Please refer to CDW policies for details.

Vehicles rented at the airport may be dropped off at Payless city locations within Panama. Check with the location for complete address and drop off information.

PAI / PPP - $6.99 per day

Personal Accident Insurance / Personal Property Protection - by electing to purchase optional PAI coverage at the designated daily rate, the renter and any of his passengers are insured while occupying the rental vehicle subject to all provisions of the group policy.

PPP provides coverage for actual cash value of personal property which the renter is traveling with against loss or damage. When the renter has shown acceptance on the rental agreement, the renter and renter's immediate family are insured for the period of rental, subject to all provisions of the group policy.

All drivers must meet the renting location''s minimum age requirements, have a valid driver''s license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. See also age, driver''s license, driving records, and credit cards.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE PANAMA:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof of Panamanian liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number.

Local Renters must meet our minimum age requirements; present a valid photo driver¿s license and credit card in his/her own name and proof of transferable liability insurance.

Please proceed to the Payless rental counter in the airport baggage claim area. Vehicles are located within walking distance of the rental counter.
