Additional drivers must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Vehicles may be returned between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM to accomodate early flights. Please make arrangements for early return at the time of rental.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name. Persons under 21 years or over 68 years are not permitted to drive the rental vehicles.

Renters 21 through 24 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name. Add an additional $7.50 per day surcharge.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to or loss of the rented vehicle.

Renters must show proof of physical damage insurance covering our vehicle or the purchase of CDW is mandatory. Proof of insurance should include the name and address of the insurance company and the policy number. Certain credit cards are also accepted as providing coverage.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision, upset or theft. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW - $10.00 per day with a $1,000 deductible for Economy cars, $15.00 per day with a $1,500 deductible for Caompact thru Full-size cars, $20.00 per day with a $2,000 deductible for Sport Utility and Mini Van vehicles.

Debit cards displaying the MasterCard/Visa logo are accepted. The estimated amount of the rental plus a hold of $1,000.00 for cars and $2,000.00 for Sport Utility vehicles and Mini Vans will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the Island of Jamaica.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle." Liability insurance is included in the rental rate.

Supplemental Liability - not offered at this location.

One way rentals are permitted to drop at certain hotels in Montego Bay, Corporate Kingston, Negril and Ocho Rios and at the Kingston Airport for a fee of $65.00. Drop addresses and instructions will be provided at the time of rental or obtained in advance by calling the location directly for details.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE OF JAMAICA
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport

Upon arrival and baggage collection please call the location for pick up. After exiting customs go to the arrival lobby where a Payless Agent holding a sign will be waiting to escort you to the rental counter.
