Additional drivers are allowed at most locations and there may be an additional fee if state law permits. They must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.
Additional driver fee $6.00/DY $42.00/WK spouse is exempt.

Vehicle must be returned during normal business hours. No after hour returns.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo driver's license and major credit card in his/her own name.
Ages 18-22 add $25.00/DY ages 23-24 add $10.00/DY. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional; your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

CDW - $22.95 per day for vehicles except $26.95 per day for full size vans.

We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.

OPTION 1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION 2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the four state area of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge of .40 cents for each mile driven during the duration of your rental in addition to the daily or weekly rate.

Only renters who present an in bound airline flight segment will receive unlimited mileage. Segment can be presented in the form of the actual ticket or an electronic ticket. All others will receive 100 free miles per day with excess mileage charged at .30 per mile over the 100 per day limit.

Rental days are calculated on a 24-hr basis. After 24 hours an hourly rate applie for the next three hours before another rental day is calculated

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

LIABILITY INSURANCE

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle."

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) You can purchase Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) at $12.95 per rental day.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number

Kansas City International Airport

Once outside of the baggage claim area, please proceed to the center median for shuttle to the Consolidated Rental Car Facility. Common shuttle service is provided by the airport.

Child Seat Infant - $5 per day, $35 per week
Child Seat Toddler - $5 per day, $35 per week

DISABLED DRIVERS - **Reservations to request disability equipment should be placed only by calling 1-800-PAYLESS**

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed. If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting location.

ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR DISABLED RENTERS

A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for a disabled renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Payless representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at the time of the transaction.
