Payless Car Rental Policies & Insurance

All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Additional driver fee: 4 Euros per day per additional driver.
Exclusions: Business Associate from same company

Location is open 24 hours per day.

Renter must be 21 years of age with a valid drivers license for at least one year and a major credit card in his/her own name.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid drivers license for at least one year and a major credit card in his/her own name if renting a Pick Up Truck.

CDW 7 Euros per day, all vehicle types.

At this location a Collision Damage Waiver may be purchased for 7 Euros per day, any size vehicle. If CDW is purchased, we agree to waive our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other requirements and exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for complete details.

For those who wish to provide written proof of their own collision insurance, applicable in the country of Turkey, a deposit will be required and will vary according to the type of vehicle you rent. A deposit in the amount of 20% of the value of the specific vehicle or a minimum of 2.000 Euros, whichever is greater, will be assessed against your credit card at the time of rental. if the vehicle is returned without damage, the deposit will be refunded. If damages exist you will be required to pay for any and all damage prior to departure.

Road Hazard Protection - 3 Euros per day If you purchase optional Road Hazard Protection, we waive our right to collect from you for damage to tires, windshields and lights, items not included with CDW coverage.

Debit Cards are accepted only at end of rental. Must have a major credit card.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to Turkish territory. Violation of the restriction will result in a Kilometer charge of .30 each Km driven during the duration of your rental.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) - Not offered at this location.

PAC: Person Accident Coverage is not available.

The Payless Car Rental counter is located in the International Arrival Hall just outside the customs and luggage claim area. After clearing the passport check points, clearing customs and claiming luggage, proceed to the International Arrival Hall, turn right to find the Payless counter. Use any courtesy phone in the baggage claim area for additional directions or instructions. All vehicles are within walking distance of the rental counter.

Child Seat Infant / Toddler 4 Euros per day.
GPS/ Navigation Kit 4 Euros per day.

Hand Controls are provided at no additional fee. A minimum advance notice of 72 hours is required. Equipment may vary in operation type, we may not be able to supply hand controls for all makes and models of vehicles. We may not be able to provide disability equipment that is either permanently installed or involves permanent alteration to a vehicle, such as left-foot gas pedal extensions. We do not have permanently modified vehicles such as wheelchair-driver position or ramp-access vans.
Drivers for Visually Impaired Travelers or those whose equipment needs can not be met may drive a car as an Authorized Driver for the person to whom a vehicle is rented. The Authorized Driver must possess a valid driver's license and be age 25. There is no additional fee for an Additional Authorized Driver under these circumstances.
The person with disability needs must identify him/herself as visually or physically challenged and that a driver is being provided at the time of reservation. Both the person for whom the needs are requested and the driver must be present at the time of rental transaction.

Between an airport terminal and the rental office, ADA access transportation may be provided by services other than Payless. This service is provided at no additional charge or increase in rental rate.
