No Additional Driver Surcharge

Additional Drivers must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid driver's license and credit card. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo driver's license and a major credit card on the renters name.
Ages 21-24 add $10.00 per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

$31.25 per day for economy, compact, and intermediate cars, standard pickups, full size vans, and intermediate, full size, and premium SUVs.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

International travelers should be prepared to present valid proof of conforming coverage including a description of coverage of the rental vehicle.

We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.CDW

From "Zona VIva" Zone 10 get on Avenida Reforma going South until you arrive to
the Obelisco. At the Obelisco make a right onto Boulevard Liberacion. Drive on this
Boulevard for approximately 5 minutes until the signs towards the airport appear
guiding you left. Turn left where indicated and rentals, located in front of the
airport. Our office is No. 4.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full. Pre-paid fuel options are available. Please check at rental counter for details.

All vehicles are entitled to UNLIMITED MILLAGE upon rental. Cars may be driven in
Guatemala and into the neighboring countries of El Salvador, Honduras, and Belize.
A special permit to leave the country is issued at our offices with an addtional one
time charge of $25 USD. Cars may not be driven to Mexico or driven off-road. Only 4x4 vehicles may be driven on rugged roads.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace
period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will
apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.

$13.40 per day for Economy and Compact cars.
$20.54 per day for Intermediate, Standard and Specialty vehicles, Vans and SUV's.

One way rentals are offered and the extra charge apply depending the city or the country of the drop off.

PAI - $5.00 per day $35.00 per week
PEC - $5.00 per day $35.00 per week

Personal Accident Insurance: PAI provides certain life and medical benefits in the event of an accidental death and/or injury occurring during the rental. PAI coverage extends to the customer for the duration of the rental and to all passengers while entering, exiting and occupying the car.

Personal Effects Coverage: PEC provides limited protection for loss or damage to covered personal effects while such personal effects are in transit or in any hotel or other building en route during the rental period. Coverage applies to the customer and members of the customer's immediate family who permanently reside in the customer's household and are traveling with the renter.

All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. See also age, driver's license, driving records, and credit cards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number.
