All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements, present a valid photo drivers license and credit card in his/her own name. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply.

Additional driver fee: $ 8.00 per day per additional driver.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in his/her own name.

Renters 21 through 24 years of age with a valid drivers license and a major credit in his/her own name - add an additional $15.00 per day surcharge. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW is optional; your personal auto policy may cover damage to the rented vehicle. Check with your insurer if you are uncertain.

We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage.

AIRLINE ARRIVING PASSENGERS WITH RETURN TICKETS - The estimated amount of the rental plus a deposit of $500.00 will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. The funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

LOCAL RENTERS WITH A STATE OF FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE - A $1000.00 deposit will be be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. If the total estimated rental charge exceeds $900.00 the estimated amount plus 15% will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. The funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

OPTION #1 BUY A TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental, bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level. Credit will not be issued for unused fuel.

OPTION #2 WE FILL THE TANK
Vehicle is rented with a full tank. Bring the vehicle back full to avoid a charge or Payless will refuel your vehicle based on the miles driven or level of the tank. A refueling service fee will apply per gallon.

Use of the vehicle is restricted to the state of Florida. Violation of the restriction will result in a mileage charge for each mile driven during the duration of your rental.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace
period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will
apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Local renters are defined are those who reside in the State of Florida and /or those who present a Florida drivers license. Local renters must show proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present the required proof insurance coverage.

Debit Car Policy for Local Renters - Debit cards are accepted from Local Renters based on the following:
A $1000.00 deposit will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. If the total estimated rental charge exceeds $900.00 the estimated amount plus 15% will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. The funds will no longer be available for your immediate use and may take up to 14 days, depending on your bank, to become available. We will not be responsible for returned check(s) or insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

Liability Insurance protects you against claims for injury you cause to third persons or their property. Liability insurance does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle. State and Country laws determine whether your personal auto liability insurance or our liability insurance will pay for injuries you cause to others while driving our vehicle.

At this location, renters must show proof of auto liability and physical damage insurance coverage. Proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number. We can elect not to rent to you if you do not present the required proof insurance coverage.

SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE (SLI) - $10.99 per day, $76.93 per week

Supplemental Liability Insurance is an optional excess auto liability insurance policy that provides a combined single limit coverage of $1 Million per occurrence. Exclusions may apply.

All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. See also age, driver's license, driving records, and credit cards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must have a valid international drivers license if the drivers license of origin is not in Roman alphabet.
- Payless requires written proof in English of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number

Renters must be at least 21 years of age.

Roadside Assistance Program, October 1, 2008
If you purchase our Roadside Service Plan (RSP) we will waive all, or a portion of, the cost of a roadside assistance service call up to the amount of $125.00, per incident. You may purchase RSP at $2.99 per rental day. Benefits include emergency road service towing, winching, jump start, flat tire change, lockout service and emergency fuel delivery. Some restrictions apply; ask for a copy of an RSP brochure at the rental counter.

Special Equipment / Disabled Drivers:

Child Seat Infant / Toddler $7.00 per day.

Booster seats $7.00 per day.

Portable DVD players: DVD player, portable charger and headphones are available to rent. A family friendly DVD will be provided free of charge with the rental of the DVD player. Check at the counter for availability.

GPS Magellan Roadmate - $10.95 per day ¿ Available for rental by request, GPS device for driving directions and locating points of interest and specific addresses within the State of Florida. Please call the location to verify availability.

DISABLED DRIVERS - **Reservations to request disability equipment should be placed only by calling 1-800-PAYLESS**

Hand controls are provided at no additional charge however availability of special equipment must be verified before the reservation can be confirmed. If you require special equipment to operate the vehicle, please contact us at 1-800-PAYLESS. We will process your request and send a confirmation response within 72 hours after verifying availability with the renting location.

ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS FOR VISION IMPAIRED RENTERS A traveling companion who will serve as a driver for the visually impaired renter will be authorized at no additional charge. Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Please advise the Payless representative of the companion driver at the time of rental. Both must be present at the time of the transaction.

Some toll roads in Florida are no longer manned to accept cash as payment. Your rental vehicle is equipped with the ability to pay for tolls electronically. Tolls you incur will be billed as a separate item on your credit card statement as "Rental Car Tolls". Charge for this service is $2.50 per day or $10.00 per week for your rental period plus the non-discounted toll charges published by the toll authority while in possession of this vehicle.
