Additional Driver Surcharge: $3.00 per day.

Additional Drivers must meet the minimum age requirements, present a valid driver's license and credit card. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.

Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo drivers license and major credit card in his/her own name.

Ages 21 - 24 add $5.00 per day. Underage surcharge will not appear in total pricing.

Collision Damage Waiver/Responsibility for Vehicle Damage:

If you do not purchase Collision Damage Waiver, you are responsible for all damage to the rented vehicle.

If you purchase Collision Damage Waiver, we will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Payless Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions.

CDW Cost:
$25 per day for all car types, with a collision deductible in the amount of 10% of the full value of the rental vehicle and a theft deductible in the amount of 20% of the full value of the rental vehicle.

DDW Cost:
$38 per day for all car types.
The DDW carries a 0% collision deductible, and a 0% theft deductible.

Debit Cards are accepted. Must contact the location directly.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full. Pre-paid fuel options are available. Please check at rental counter for details.

Vehicles can not be driven outside Mexico. Vehicles rented outside Mexico City and driven into Mexico City will have a one or two days restriction, depending on the amount of pollution and according to the last two digits of the license plate, vehicles rented in Acapulco, Ixtapa, Oaxaca, and Mexico City have especial licence plates that elimainate the restrication.

Rental is based on a 24-hour period. The client receives a 59-minute grace
period. If he/she keeps the vehicle after this time, an hourly rate will
apply from minute one.

It is the policy of Payless to have the confirmed vehicle available during normal business hours for the calendar day of the scheduled arrival.

Liability insurance protects you against claims for injury or damage you cause to third persons or their property. It does not cover injury to you or damage to the rented vehicle.

Property damage/public liability is included in accordance with insurance laws of country and covers up to MXN 25,000.00 in basic third party liability protection. Theft, vandalism or damage to parts and accessories are not covered.

Optional supplemental liability insurance (SLI) is available for purchase at a rate of $12.00 USD per day. It is a protection which extends the coverage of legal liability up to a maximum of MXN 750,000.00.

If declining the SLI, an additional credit card approval of $5000.00 USD will be required in addition to the estimated total for the rental.

One way rentals are permitted between the following cities: (drop fees will apply)

Chihuahua -Monterrey $400 USD
Chihuahua- Ciudad Juarez $178 USD
Chihuahua - Queretaro $725 USD

Personal Accident Coverage/Personal Accident Insurance: By electing to purchase optional PAC/PAI coverage at the designated daily rate, the renter and any of his passengers are insured while occupying the rental vehicle subject to all provisions of the group policy. PAC/PAI cost may vary by location.

All drivers must meet the renting location's minimum age requirements, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and present a major credit card in his/her own name at the time of rental. See also age, driver's license, driving records, and credit cards.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RENTERS FROM COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY OF MEXICO:
- Must have a valid drivers license from renters/drivers country of origin or a valid international drivers license..
- Must have a valid passport.
- At this location, Payless requires written proof of Mexican liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property and collision and comprehensive insurance covering any Payless vehicle while on rent. Written proof should include the name and address of the insurer and the policy number
