NU Car Rentals - Estonia Policies & Insurance

Service is provided by NU Car Rentals. Upon arrival, please proceed to the NU Car Rentals counter located in the Rental Car Pavillon on floor '0' of the airport. If valid flight info was received at time of booking an agent will be there to meet you. Our operating hours are from 09:00 to 18:00 hours. Should you arrive outside of normal working hours an 'After Hours' Fee of 18.9 EUR plus tax will apply locally. Vehicles are held for up to 2 hours after the stated arrival time on booking. If flight details where not provided, please call + and we will be happy to assist you.

Rental rates include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW), Theft Protection (TP), TPL (Third Party Liability) insurances and unlimited mileage at no additional charge. In the case of accident or theft, renter is still responsible for a deductible of 640 Euro for all car classes. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLD): Optional insurances SCDW and STP are available for 7 EUR/day and have a deductible of 192 EUR. Loss of vehicle keys, documents and damage to tires, glass or interior are not covered.

Child/infant seats are available for $29.00USD/rental. Renter must indicate child's age, along with request for infant seat at time of booking. We apologize, but left or right hand controls are not available. GPS navigation is available for $8.90USD/Day. Must be requested at time of booking.

All rental vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, a refueling fee, and a charge of 1.6 EUR/litre to complete the tank of fuel will be charged upon return of the vehicle.

One-way rentals are allowed from Tallin to the following cities: Tallin Airport to City Centre - 9.6 EUR. Tallin city centre to Tallin airport - 9.6 EUR Tallin - Riga for 108 EUR; Tallin - Vilnius for 189 EUR; Tallin - Tartu for 44 EUR and Tallin - Parnu for 42 EUR. Renter must advise location of drop at time of rental.

Vehicles may be driven into the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. The border crossing fee is 16.00 EUR. Driving into Russia is NOT permitted.

Minimum age is 21 Yrs of age. All drivers must have a valid Driver's license and major credit card in their own name. Additional drivers must meet the same qualifications as the primary driver. There is an additional driver's fee of 9.60 EUR per day.

At certain times of the year it will be necessary to provide a credit card guarantee in order to reserve a car. Certain car types may require a credit card guarantee year round. If your reservation requires a credit card in order to book, please be sure to cancel at least 48 hours in advance in order to avoid any cancellation fee. This fee compensates us for our inability to rent the vehicle while it was reserved for your use. Reservations MUST be cancelled through the original booking source.

American Express, Eurocard, Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club are accepted. Debit cards are not accepted. Cash rentals are only accepted at the end of the rental. A major and valid credit card in the renters own name is required in order to rent a vehicle. A security deposit of up to 640 Euro may be required.

All quoted rates are in US Dollars and payments will taken in the local currency. A rental day consists of a 24 hour period commencing with the date and time indicated on the rental contract. Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or an additional fee. There are no refunds for early returns. If you require multiple vehicles for the same dates or overlapping periods, please make sure to use the actual name of the driver for each reservation. Otherwise the duplicate name reservations will be automatically cancelled. NU Car Rentals will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.
