Lower Rates
In the event that a vehicle is booked and a lower price is found either on Carl's Van Rentals' website or through a third party provider for an identical vehicle for the same dates and times, Carl's Van Rentals will issue a credit in the amount equal to the difference in base rates, good for one year, for a future reservation at any location that Carl's Van Rentals operates. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Service
Carl's Van Rentals, CJB Enterprises, INC or any of its subsidiary companies reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Final decisions on any matters will be subject to the decision of Carl's Van Rentals management.

Policy Acceptance
As stated in the "Deposit" section of policies, Carl's Van Rentals will require a deposit for ANY reservation - minimum of $100. Please review Christmas deposit requirements for reservations falling during Carl's Christmas time period. At the time that a reservation is booked, customer will be required to provide a credit card number for the required deposit. The customer's submission of credit card information is a binding agreement between customer and Carl's Van Rentals for provision of a rental vehicle. The customer is solely responsible for reading ALL POLICIES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION. Carl's Van Rentals WILL NOT be responsible for customer's lack of reading or understanding of policies. By providing your email address, you are authorizing Carl's Van Rentals to send you informative updates, specials, and discounts as well as being added to our mailing list. Deposit/s will not be refunded due to customer failure to familiarize themselves with policies regarding reservations, cancellations, deposits, or any other policies or procedures not specifically noted. The customer is responsible for asking any questions regarding policies before providing credit card information and making a reservation. Customer's credit card MUST be in the same name as the renter's name. We do allow other parties to pay for rentals but paying party MUST CONTACT Carl's Van Rentals for forms in order to do so. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Discounts
Only one discount will be given per rental. Discounts may not be combined. Price match rentals will be given 5% off the matched price's BASE RATE and will not receive additional discounts.

Public Schools
State Laws Concerning the Use of 12 & 15 passenger Vans as of Feb 2004. In the state of Florida, 12 & 15 passengers vans may not be used to transport students to and from school or school-related events. In Florida, this law does not apply to private schools or companies that contract directly with parents. (This means the vehicle may be rented to a private individual and placed under that individual's insurance - tax exempt status, etc, may not be used) In the state of North Carolina, 12 & 15 passenger vans may not be used to transport students to and from school, but may be used for school-related events. In North Carolina, the law does not apply to private schools or school-related events.

Non-Physical Offices
Any offices that do not have a physical location will require all paperwork to be completed beforehand by either fax or email. Carl's Van Rentals will deliver the vehicle/s to the respective location and pick up the vehicle/s when the rental/s is/are complete. All paperwork MUST be completed a minimum of 24 hours prior to pickup.

Driver Licenses
Carl's requires a valid, government-issued driver's license for renting a vehicle. Temporary or suspended licenses WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Expired licenses can be accepted if validity can be verified through the issuing state's department of transportation's driver's license check.

Cash and Check Cards
Cash and Check/Debit Cards are accepted as forms of payment. A MINIMUM $250 deposit is required IN ADDITION TO the cost of the rental in order to use a check/debit card OR cash. The full amount of the rental plus the deposit is due at time of pickup. Verifiable FULL COVERAGE auto insurance is also required in order to use these methods of payment. We will also require THREE VERIFIABLE points of contact (phone numbers) to get in touch with you if necessary. We will also require THREE forms of identification 1. Driver License (will be verified with DMV of your state) 2/3. Utility bills, current pay stub, tax return, credit card statement, bank statement, lease or mortgage papers.

Agreement
By reserving a vehicle with Carl's Van Rentals, you are agreeing to ALL of the terms, conditions, and policies set forth both online as well as in the contract at the time of pickup. Carl's Van Rentals is not responsible for website innaccuracies or misprints. Specific information on policies can be obtained by contacting Carl's Van Rentals via email or phone or by contacting the corporate office. Discounts are at the sole discretion of Carl's Van Rentals management.

No Smoking
ALL VEHICLES ARE NON-SMOKING. A deodorization fee of $250 will apply if smoking odor or ashes are detected.

Platinum Service
For an additional fee, Our Platinum Service is available. Your rental vehicle can be delivered to you, or be waiting for your arrival at the airport you arrive or at your hotel. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 48 hours advance notice IS required.

Platinum Service IS required if your flight is arriving outside of our normal operating hours.

15 pass Super Saver
We are now offering a limited number of higher mileage vehicles at lower rates. These vehicles are available ONLY for online booking! Unlimited Mileage is NEVER available for Super Saver Vans and they may NOT leave the state that they are rented.

Insurance Requirements
All of our cash renters are required to have proof of full coverage car insurance and a $500 deposit IN ADDITION TO the cost of the rental up front. Please review the cash/debit/check card policies for more specific details. If you will be paying by credit card you are required to have proof of a minimum of liability insurance. If you have only liability insurance we do offer additional coverage for the vehicle/s.

ALL INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS will be required to purchase the Personal Protection Package in order to rent a vehicle with us. We may waive this requirement if the renter brings proof of FULL COVERAGE automobile insurance in the United States (US territories excluded.)

Cancellations
All reservations are guaranteed with a MINIMUM of a $100.00 deposit. This is applied to the total cost of the rental. Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the date of rental to receive a refund. Cancellation period changes for Christmas, see Christmas policy for more specific information.

If reservations are made within the two week period, you will have until 6PM EST of the day the reservation was made to cancel. Your deposit will be held for a period of one year FROM THE CANCELLATION DATE for a future reservation. Rebooking deposits will not be refunded for any reason.

Reservations canceled on the day of pickup will not be refunded for any reason.. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Unlimited Mileage
Unlimited mileage is not available for residents of the state the vehicle is rented from. This policy supersedes ANY WRITTEN OR VERBAL confirmations or agreements. Customers arriving via air travel WILL receive unlimited miles and WILL be required to demonstrate proof. Air travel customers MAY NOT leave the state that the vehicle is rented from. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devices. Unlimited mileage is not available on pickup trucks, cargo vans, or minibuses or 15 passenger Super Saver vans. Unlimited mileage IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR OUT OF STATE TRAVEL. NO exceptions!

Transfer Fee
Transfer fees will apply if vehicle is dropped off at a location other than the one it was rented at. ONE WAY RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE ONLINE. One way rentals are not always available between all locations. Orlando location requires $75 each way for pickup and return to Amtrak station. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Mileage
Local residents do not receive unlimited mileage at any time. Non-Local residents will receive unlimited mileage providing they have arrived through an airport and can demonstrate proof of flight AND out-of-state residency. This policy supersedes any reservation confirmation. Unlimited mileage is not available for minibuses, cargo vans, pickup trucks or 15 passenger Super Savers.

Pets
We do not allow pets in our vehicles. If you do choose to put a pet in our vehicle, you will assessed a minimum of a $100 fee if ANY evidence is discovered including, but not limited to: hair, odor, etc

No Shows
Reservations will be held for three hours after reserved pick-up time or for one hour after confirmed flight touchdown providing you have provided us flight information. If your flight changes and you fail to inform us, you will lose your deposit if your flight arrives after we close. If you still wish to pick up your vehicle, you will need to do so from our office. You MUST contact us IMMEDIATELY if your flight is going to land after our office hours.

Deposit
There is a MINIMUM of a $100.00 deposit to make a reservation. Deposit amount depends on rental time period and can be higher. All reservations are guaranteed with a deposit. For Christmas deposit information, please review the Christmas deposit requirements.

Checks
Personal checks ARE NOT accepted for any reason. Company checks will only be accepted from a school, church, or business. Checks must be recieved no less than 2 weeks prior to your rental. Checks received on the day of rental will require a deposit in the amount of the rental in cash (plus a $500 deposit) or by credit card, NOT a check/debit card. This amount will be refunded when the check clears.

Christmas Deposit Requirements
Deposits for rentals with any day falling between December 20th and January 10th will be as follows. For reservations made during this time period, 50% of total cost of rental will be required. The remaining balance will be taken at the time of rental. Cancellations made four weeks (28 days) of the pickup date of the rental will receive a store credit in the amount of the deposit good for use on a future rental up to one year from the RESERVATION date (Must pick up AND return before the cancellation date) All reservations are guaranteed with this deposit. A required Christmas credit card authorization form will be sent and must be returned to us prior to your rental and MUST INCLUDE a legible photo ID as well as a copy of the credit card to be used - may block out numbers EXCEPT THE LAST FOUR. Failure to return this form DOES NOT constitute cancellation and your deposit will STILL BE FORFEITED.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
An additional driver may be added for an additional daily fee. You may refer to our reservations section for specific pricing for individual offices or contact the respective office you wish to rent from.

AFTER HOURS
For an additional fee ($50 outside of normal business hours or $100 during normal business hours), Platinum Service is available. The rental vehicle will be delivered to the airport. All paperwork will be completed via fax or email. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 72 hours advance notice is required. Platinum Service is required for any customers arriving before or after Carls normal business hours.

AGE
All drivers must be at least 21 years of age.

BUSINESS HOURS
Most locations are open from 8-6 EST Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 9-5. Call individual offices for exact hours. We can arrange for pickup and return at any time with 3 days notice.

COMMISSION
Commission may be available to travel agents. Actual amounts vary based on numbers of vehicles, etc. Please contact Carls for further details.

DRIVERS LICENSE
A valid government-issued drivers license will be required of all drivers at the time of rental. The license may not be expired, cracked, broken, or a temporary permit/license.

EMERGENCY INFO
A 24 hour emergency number will be provided at the time of rental for contact with Carls outside of normal hours of operation.

GAS
Fuel level will be checked and confirmed at the time of rental. Customer is required to bring the vehicle back with |b|the same|/b| amount of fuel as when rented. Fuel discrepancies will be billed up to $10.00 US per gallon (actual amount set by daily pump price and will be reflected on written contracts)

GEOGRAPHIC
Vehicles may travel to any state in the continental United States. Travel outside of the state of Florida is regulated by GPS tracking units. |b)Unlimited mileage is NOT available for travel outside of Florida. Unlimited mileage is never available on cargo vans, pickup trucks or minibuses. NO EXCEPTIONS!|/b)

HOLIDAY
Carls Van Rentals is closed for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day so that our employees may spend time with their families. Pickups and dropoffs for these days are available and may be arranged by contacting Carls.

HONOR RESERVATIONS
Rates are locked in and guaranteed at the time of booking. Price increases |b|and|/b| decreases will not affect the rate that you have booked at. If a lower rate becomes available, you may receive that rate if you are outside of 14 days of your pickup date. If you are within 14 days of your pickup date you must cancel and rebook the rental, relinquishing your deposit of $100. If you are within 14 days of your pickup date (28 days for Christmas time period) when you cancel, you will lose your $100 deposit (50% of rental cost for Christmas).

LOCAL RENTERS
Renters picking up locally may do so by visiting our office during our normal office hours. Renters with a Florida Drivers License will not be subject to airport fees.

OTHER
Smoking- NO SMOKING allowed in any of Carls Van Rentals vehicles. Pets- NO PETS allowed in any of Carls Van Rentals vehicles.

PAYMENT
Payment for full amount of rental is due upon pickup. Payment by be made by the following: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express Carls will also accept cash and check/debit cards as forms of payment. YOU MUST CONTACT CARLS PRIOR TO YOUR RENTAL FOR DEBIT/CHECK CARD POLICIES. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT AND CANCELLATION OF YOUR RENTAL AND FORFEIT OF YOUR DEPOSIT. An additional deposit of a minimum of $500 and Full Coverage auto insurance |b|will be required|/b|

PICKUP/DROP
Pickups and Dropoffs may be made at any time through prearrangement with Carls Van Rentals. Additional fees for after-hours pickups may be incurred.

REFUNDS-EARLY RETURNS
No refunds will be given for early returns.

RULES
Vehicles may not be altered in any way. Verbal extensions will not be honored.

SHUTTLE
Carls Van Rentals provides a shuttle to and from all airports during normal operating hours for all customers and is free of charge. One way is approximately a 5-10 minute ride.

TRAVELING TO CANADA
Vehicles may not travel to Canada for any reason.

TRAVELING TO MEXICO
Vehicles may not travel to Mexico for any reason.
