Blueway Car Rental Was born in 1965 in the city of Merida, Yucatan MX, under the name of Alquiladora Montejo SA de CV, where we start operations as one of the pioneers in Car Rental Business in the Yucatan Peninsula (Southeast Mexico). Beautiful Beaches and Arqueological sites, put this region in the eye of the world, and became one of the top most visited places in the globe; these two mixes and a much extended area of tourism road, are the most important ingredients to have a high increase of customers year by year with our company dedication to the car rental industry. These two reasons build the possibility of buy the rights to use a Major Franchise in Car Rental Business in 1975 and start the growth in the region, Cancun City was founded and the company open plenty more new locations (Negocios Montejo SA de CV start Business d/b/a Budget Car Rental), locations in Airports were a success, alliance with major Hotel Chains as Marriott, Hilton, Oasis, Iberostar Hotels, etc. made this company really grow in all local areas. During so many years we have been operated the Budget Car Rental Brand as a sub licensee of the Master franchise in Mexico. We have created a new brand to start our own business in the car rental industry and facing new goals with our existing customers, plus our increasing efforts to provide a new concept with much more advantages for customer such as: low prices, service and quality standards as a worldwide major car rental company. Rewards program will be offered to our local and future customers to take the advantage in this so much visited place.

Age Requirements: Renter must be 25 years of age with a valid photo driverâ€™s license and major credit card in his/her own name Underage allowed between 21-24 years old with a surcharge it is available, Underage driver must meet the same main driver's requirements. Drivers must meet the minimum age requirements; present a valid driver's license and credit card. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver.
