Autoteam Car Rental was founded by Benno Bachmann in January 2001. It is a family run business specializing in the needs of international travellers, students, exchange workers and local customers in the New York City metropolitan area. Autoteam's staff is multilingual speaking English, German and Spanish. Autoteam is known for offering very inexpensive rental insurance for all of their vehicles. Currently Autoteam's rental fleet has more than 150 reliable vehicles from 4 door cars up to 30 foot RVs. The Main office is located in South Amboy, New Jersey, just few miles south of Newark Airport. It is easily reachable by public transportation from Manhattan and the surrounding airports. Complimentary pick up service is available for Newark Airport, South Amboy Train Station, MetroPark Station in Edison and local areas, Vehicle pick up and drop off is also possible in major cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle/ Vancouver, Anchorage and Montreal.

Airport Service

Autoteam Car Rental provides airport pickup and dropoff services.

We offer complimentary pick ups at Newark Airport (EWR) only. Other airports in the area such as JFK and LaGuardia (LGA) are easily accessible to Newark Airport (EWR) and we will pick you up from there.

We can sign you up for AAA service which provides emergency roadside assistance and travel discounts. We offer pet designated vehicles for those that have to travel with pets. We are multilingual speaking German, English and Spanish. GPS are available to rent.
