Adobe Transportation Policies & Insurance

When returning during business hours park the vehicle at the back lot and bring the keys, mileage and gas level to the agent.
If returning after business hours either lock the keys in the van or bring the keys to the office and drop them through the mail slot.

If renter cancels before 72 hours there is no charge.
If a renter cancels within 72 hours of the reservation pick-up time a one day time and mileage charges will be applied to their credit card.

Adobe allows the renter to take the vehicle into Mexico. Mexican Insurance MUST be purchased by the renter from Adobe Transportation.
If the renter goes into Mexico without Adobe's permission and without Adobe's Mexico insurance the renter will be charged a $350 administrative fee and the rental rate will revert to the daily rate plus a charge of $0.50 per mile, and Adobe's Mexico insurance will be added.

Renter is advised to study the laws governing international travel and bring government issued ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, and/or Social Security Card. International Visa fees imposed by the government of Mexico are the responsibility of the Renter.

Vehicles generally go out with a full tank of gas. Upon return a charge of $6.00/gal will be added to the rental charges for fuel used.

If the gas is not full the renter needs to return with the same amount of fuel on the gas gauge.

Renter checks the fuel level during the inspection and is responsible to make sure it is correct.

Vehicles are allowed to travel only to adjacent states touching Arizona. Renter may go to other states with special permission of Adobe. Renter must tell Adobe if they plan to leave the state and must be agreed to by the rental counter and added to the contract. Most vehicles have tracking devices that tell Adobe if vehicles leave the state.
Violation of the rental boundries can void the contract and will lead to additional charges.

Charges may include a $150 administration fee and the contract will revert to daily charge plus a per mile charge of $0.50 for passenger vans.

A 200 mile per day allowance is given on all vehicles.Overage miles will be charged.

Renters paying by credit card may extend their rental contract by coming into the office and signing a new contract and credit card authorization.

Adobe Transportation and renter both inspect the vehicle prior to the renter leaving the facility. The renter signs a walk around sheet acknowledging any prior damage. This sheet will be used to determine if any new damage has occured.The customer is responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition. If vehicle is not returned in the same condition a cleaning fee will be charged dependent on the condition of return.

If the vehicle is returned with body or mechanical damage the customer is responsible for all damages per the contract agreement. Charges will be dependent on the extent of damage and contract agreement.

All vehicles are non-smoking. A fee up to $300can be assessed if renter smoked in the vehicle. The amount will depend on the amount of deoderization required.

No one way rentals are allowed

The vans are clean when the customer picks up the vehicle. The vehicle needs to be returned in a similar condition. Normal dirt is to be expected. However, garbage, stains, sand and tracked in dirt will be considered exsessive and cleaning fees maybe added to the rental charges. The fees will be based on the return condition and necessary detailing required.

Taxes, fees and surcharges are not included in the base rental rates.

The Tucson airport Authority requies us to charge an airport access fee of 8.1% for all airport pick ups and drop offs.

The renter will be held financially responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle regardless of fault.
The renter can reduce their responsibility to a $500 deductible by purchasing a property damage waiver from Adobe.
Renter must have proof of full coverage insurance or will be required to take Adobe Transportations Physical Waiver Policy

Minimum Age: NONE

Age NONE to 24 - $20.00 daily surcharge applies for each underage driver.

Age 25 to 25 -

Age 26 to 26 - $20 per day, must take our full insurance coverage

Age 27 to 29 - $20 per day

Age 30 to A - A

Renters between 21 and 24 years can rent with a $20.00 per day surcharge and are required to purchase Adobe's physical waiver damage policy

2 additional drivers permitted an additional chargeof $ 5.00 applies per day(per additional driver)

Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 25

Additional drivers who are betwwen the ages of 21-24 will pay a surcharge of $20 per day.

Cash deposits are not accepted.
Adobe Transportation accepts the following rental deposits:

Debit Card, Company Account, VISA, Master Card, AMEX, Discover, Direct Bill (with special approval)

No Charge Pick-ups and drop-offs within radius of 5 miles

Renter must provide evidence of comprehensive and collision insurance coverage that extends to the rental vehicle, or we must be able to verify such coverage.
