Ace Rent A Car Mexico Reviews

The staff wanted to charge more than I was quoted for SLI coverage until I showed them a copy of the quote. The first car leaked transmition fluid & oil & 1 tire kept going flat. Returned car for a different one.

The vehicle we were given was in very poor condition...leaking oil & transmission fluid & had one tire loosing air. Returned the car to Ace for tire repair & given loaner for few hours. Returned & told car re-rented with our condo garage door opener in it. Had been seen while cleaning but not removed before re-rent. After 2 drives to Ace office & e-mails we contacted the new renter & got opener back with no help from Ace. Not impressed.

Picked up a car which had no breaks. Did not realize it until I was miles down the road and found it difficult to stop to make a right turn. Had to pass up my stop pump the breaks to safely turn around and back to the rental booth.(slowly and with caution) They immediately got me a car, however considering I had my entire family in the vehicle with me, this could have been catastrophic.

Pick up at the airport was confusing at the beginning as info was not available and no one seemed to know where Ace pick up was. Everything else was great. Thanks.
