Dallas is a modern, spacious city with a great climate (most of the time!) and lovely parks to enjoy. It is famous for its football, horses and Longhorn hood (bonnet) ornaments on expensive limousines and there are many festivals and shows all year round. Local attractions include a brief stroll to the Morton H. Myerson Symphony Centre, the Dallas Museum of Art and the historic Majestic Theatre. The McKinney Avenue, Deep Ellum and West End entertainment areas are a short ride away by light rail. The Plaza of the Americas Atrium (at the hotel), the West End District or the North Park Mall (on the light rail line) have a host of eclectic boutiques, antique stores and retail shops making shopping a delight in Dallas.
Dallas Fortworth International is 22 miles (or 40 minutes) from the hotel. The taxi fare is approximately USD 25.00 plus tip. The airport bus runs every half hour.
